I bought this to replace an older Nikon Coolpix. I think I am going to return it. It takes too much time between pictures. I was looking for something a little faster. Pictures turn out great though.

Wanted a pocket camera for travel . Familiar with Canon cameras and their pocket cameras received good reviews. Went to Best Buy to look at the cameras they had on display. Intended to buy a less expensive model ,but by doing a comparison I chose SX620 because of the better focus and zoom .

Camera is fine, not had a chance to use it outdoors except once (bad weather) and it was indoor/outdoor venue. COMPLAINT: No viewfinder. Trying to take a picture outdoors in the sun, the screen becomes black and you cannot see what it is you're photographing. This is a real problem.

I was not pleased with this camera. I charged the battery the first time and the second day of use on a educational field trip, the battery still showed full charge. I thought WOW this battery lasts long. WRONG, it died right in the middle of taking pictures. Very annoying. Plus long range pictures came out fuzzy - no clarity.

I have used the canon sure shot models of camera since the digital age started. I find them to be convenient and easy to use. I take a lot of photos and get them developed. Using an SD card from these cameras allow me to do this as opposed to having photos sit on my iphone forever and never get printed.

Camera worked well. I really like using Canon's products. The only issue to take into consideration was that the lens fogged up with a dramatic climate change. This does happen on cameras but we traveled to a tropical area and it took some adjustment from inside to outside.

I haven’t worked with camera a lot but for price it’s ok. Menu a little complicated finding certain things but sure with sone practice I’ll get the hang of it. Nothing mind blowing but again for price it’s decent.

I have 2 of these cameras and use them for my job, which usually entails going into dirty dusty and wet places. I know they are not designed for such use, but they have held up well under extreme conditions.

Camera is excellent quality lens for a fixed lens. Gallery is confusing to view and switcheck back to camera mode but it gets easier as you use it. Recommended a better battery if available. Don't lose charger, it's the only way to charge the battery, nothing universal

Easy to use and setup. Takes pictures without any lag (my previous Sony camera would "freeze" for 2 seconds every time I took a photo). For the price, it's excellent.

It’s a great starter camera. We bought this for our 13 year old and it was ok. The picture quality not so good, but great for starters.

I got this camera for a quick, easy to use point and shoot while on vacation. I am not a camera expert, so I set everything on auto and just take a pic. It is easy to use, light and quick to turn on. But, the pics are really poor. Isn't that why you get a camera in the first place? My Samsung phone runs rings around this camera! I'd return it, but I missed the return period. Maybe quality can be improved by tweaking settings, but I am not a camera expert. I keep my Samsung phone on auto setting too and the pics are awesome. Look for something else is you want good pics. I'll give it to my 3 year old daughter to play with because its about the same pic quality as a $20 camera I'd give her anyways and I don't care at this point if she destroys it.

I've owned a Sony and Panasonic point and shoot cameras but the quality of the photos has been suspect. With the Canon Powershot SX620 I didn't have any of those problems. When I had to take a quick picture the camera adjusted focus with relative ease.

I’ve used a Nikon up until this purchase. Was really excited thinking the upgrade in megapixels would be great. The image quality is ok. I really liked my old Nikon images better.

Just use you phone. This camera is pointless. Takes decent pictures, but depending on what cell phone you have it probably takes better ones.

Very good at just about everything, including action, low light, portrait. Zoom function is fantastic. Not really excellent at anything in particular, but the combined features make it an all-around winner in a compact camera.
