this lens is simply amazing ... the quality of the images are superb and super fast focus.

I bought this lens for reason my TAMRON 90mm macro started to collect dust particles AND started to fog up internally. I have the 90mm for years and it was time to upgrade. By far the Canon RF 100mm is sharper than rhe Tamron 90mm. The autofocus is spot on although I manual focus 90% of the time.

This is my favorite lens. Fast, sharp and greta macro abilities.

First of all, I'm pretty sure Best Buy is repackaging open box or refurbished lens as new. Mine had brown tape on it that looked like it was previously opened. Other than that, the lens is great. I mostly use it for Macro shots. I've used this in a somewhat dark room and struggled to get the shot. I was second shooting at a wedding so the shot was not too important thank goodness. Needs tons of light to work properly or you risk missing the shot while this lens struggles to rack and find focus.

Des what it is supposed to do, allow for macro shooting. I have not played much sith the new feature that changes the bokeh. May try that on portraits. I have the EF version butam looking yo get a few piecesof native glass. The lens feels good and the minimum focus distance is excellent

Very sharp lens with good magnification range and minimum focusing distance. Using it on the R5 and love the detail you can see when zooming in on images.

I absolutely love this lens. As someone who's been transitioning into the world of photography, this lens can definitely be a game changer. This is a great quality lens, especially for the cost. Highly recommend it!!!

I have only used it once for prom pictures but am very impressed so far and can’t wait to play with it more with macro photography! I love Best Buy and its zero percent interest rate on the credit card!

So far, I have only used it once on an outing. Very sharp focus as to be expected for an L lens. The spherical aberration (SA) ring, as others have mentioned, is a wasted feature for me. Also, it would have been nice if Canon would have included the tripod mounting ring with the purchase as with most other Canon L lenses.

Make sure you have enough available light. I was impressed at the high ISO performance. Auto focus and tracking is stellar even on the EOS R. The SP tool is totally useless. I do not regret purchase.

This RF 100 F2.8 lens is the ONLY lens in the world that is 1:4 ratio. Other macro lenses are 1:1. It's amazing, super sharp, and stands proudly in the space created for it with the EF 100 F2.8.

I love this lens! I am a wedding photographer and it is great for getting ring shots and for getting in closer during the ceremony.

Lightweight, solid build. Amazingly sharp both as a 1:4 macro and a 100mm f/2.8. Stabilizer and AF work well when hand holding close up. Auto focus speed between close up and infinity is impressive.

Great lens, great price! This lens did not disappoint and is really sharp and fast. I watched the reviews on-line and decided to purchase it when it went on sale. Worth the wait!

This is an amazing lens. I have the Canon R5 and this is a great portrait lens as well as a super macro lens. I like the extra SA (spherical aberration) feature that lets you play with the bokeh to make it blur or sharp.

if you are looking macro lens, dont think and buy.

This kens is great for capturing all of the details. Its easy to use and works perfect with my r6.
