Finally got this for my EOS R, the quality is excellent for the price. Makes using the R so much easier without the EF adapter. The 1.8 aperture compensates for the lack of stabilization, the lens remains very sharp even when wide open.

Beautiful lens at good price. Great for portraits, pet pictures and even landscapes with a little creativity. Pin sharp focus great bokeh- pretty much what you would expect but at $199 great value

Results were sharper and much better bokeh as compared to the kit lens included with my Canon R50. There is a considerable crop when using on an APSC sensor, and this does make it hard to use indoors. Great place to start due to the affordable price.

I LOVE THIS LENS!!! The price point is reasonable as well and it's lightweight and compact. If you're thinking about buying this, don't think just do it!

Best bang for the buck. Sharp, fast, great DOF. Am I describing the $2700 85/1.2? Nope, the 50/1.8 that's $2500 CHEAPER. Just get it, you'll find more and more uses for it on your R-body Canon.

For the price, the nifty 50 is always great. Shooting action in low light environments this is a good value choice. Soon the 1.2 but for now, you can beat the price

Great photos from a relatively budget fixed lens. Great for depth of focus shots or portrait photography, especially if you need the extra light from the high aperture.

I was very shocked at the quality of the lens for this price! I definitely see why it is called the Nifty Fifty since you get great quality at a great price point!

This lens is perfect with the R6 camera. The quality photos it takes is sharp, quick to focus and very light. 50mm is always a great one to have in your kit, and this one is excellent.

Excellent buy! I love that this lens is so small and lightweight + still gives me superb quality images. Highly recommend if you’re on the go with your camera a lot like me
