Customers often highlight the superb image quality, reasonable price, and great aperture of the RF50mm F1.8 STM lens. Its compact size, light weight, and ease of use are also appreciated. However, some customers have noted the presence of noise in video and chromatic aberration in photos.

Best value for money lens and a must have to complement any SLR. I had the EF version of the "nifty 50" for about 10 years before updating to RF version as I updated to R5 and couldn't have been more excited!

Nice nifty fifty. Changing from EOS lens on prime lens is what I will do first and this is the one you start with then go 35mm and then 85mm. F 1.8 to 2.8. Fast enough in most shooting events.

No brainer - probably should be in the camera bag of anyone with a Canon RF camera. It's so cheap, doesn't take up any room in your bag and can be thrown on the camera quick if you're looking for shallow depth of field.

The nifty 50. The universal lens for all starting photographers that need a len that could work in low lighting without breaking the bank account. a great started lens.

Love my 50 mm lens. Only bad thing i could say about it is the very obvious vignettes on most shots.. but some simple post editing takes care of that. Great lens!
