The “nifty fifty” is a great addition to the RF collection. If I had to choose I would definitely switch between the 35 and 85 vs adding the 50 into the mix, but the image is great and is especially nice to have when taking portrait photos

Compact and powerful and very affordable. I was blown out of the images that it captures. Easy to carry around when travelling. A great Nifty Fifty indeed. Paired with my R6 mark ii.

I have used it for countless portrait sessions as well as video shoots, even in low light situations, it hasn’t let me down! Auto-focus catches flawlessly with my R6 which is an older mirrorless. The detail and edges get a little soft compared to the higher end glass but overall it’s still a great lens for the price!

canon by having a new line of the RF mounts push his camera and lenses to different level and so this lens is one of this series that with this price you get a good quality lens that can cover the good range of needs in photography. So, in my opinion this is a very good lens that can cover a need of the photographer in certain level compare to the value.

I got to capture a few shots using this lens with the new camera and it was absolutely phenomenal! Great for portraits! It did take some time getting used to it, but it's absolutely amazing! **Picture attached using this specific lens.*

Gives good portrait style pictures. Best But sales man recommended this for our daughter’s graduation pictures. Pictures came out amazing even without editing.

This lens, which I learned has a nickname of Nifty 50, has been fun to use! It can’t zoom, so you get the practice of really moving around to get the shot you want. Recommend for everyone!
