Bought this camcorder to record our kids in the school plays and musicals. This has been a great camcorder so far.

Excellent camcorder! Very easy to use. Has a smooth zoom in/out button, fits great in your hand or on a tripod, and the operating controls are in a convenient location. Definitely worth the purchase.

I purchased this for personal use to record home videos, as well as, for my videography business. It is super easy to use and the quality is amazing!

It’s a little on the heavy side and will definitely be affected by a shaky hand. I typically just record on a tripod and I get excellent picture in the day and night for recitals.

The Canon VIXIA G70 camcorder offers a sturdy camera body and very impressive video quality. One feature I particularly love is the dual SD card slots, providing ample storage and flexibility. This camcorder is a significant improvement over my 6-year-old Sony model, enhancing both my filming experience and the quality of my footage.

Easy to use. Good quality build. Only down side is you can't export from the camera itself. Other than that it's a good camera

So far so good, i bought this one because my G50 4k failed right before a year old, so i needed one so badly for one event, bought this G70, I found out that this model has a slightly bigger lcd wich is good for better view, battery lasts a little longer than my G50, so I hope this one last some time.

The camera feels like it will last for a long time with the quality of the build, and along with great quality of life items that the camer has like easy to swap batteries or the multiple choices you have for data transfer and the nice sway reduction for video makes it a great run and gun camcorder for not nearly as much as some of the high end cameras as a AIO.

I absolutely love this camera and Best Buy came through with the quick service!

Good picture quality. A bit heavier than i would like, but I guess that's what all those advanced features get you.

Great recorder good zoom perfect size good battery life

This camera is being used to record youth sports, football so far, it has done a great job recording while sitting in bleachers. Was a little concerned with battery life but so far have had no issues filming the full game.
