My summary heading says it all. I was pumped and stoked to add this one, it’s one of my favorite MCU films, to my 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray library. The steelbook is just the icing on the cake, but I’m not going to lie. I have been purchasing all the MCU 4K catalog releases thus far in steel at Best Buy and will continue to pay the inflated prices with no reservations. This movie looked and sounded great even with Disney’s problems with Dolby Atmos surround tracks. Plus there’s Scarlett Johansson in 4K too...so there’s that...just sayin.

It’s an awesome movie. One of the best movies the MCU has ever put out. Great action, awesome story.

This is the BEST MCU film ever made in the marvel franchise.

The Winter Soldier, while (Spoiler!) still not able to keep any of its suspected dead actually dead, at least knows how to expertly craft a thrilling action film that just so happens to feature a Marvel super hero, and a hero, that thanks not only to that luscious supporting cast but the up-front honest and intelligently humble performance of Chris Evans has a slight advantage over those not operating directly with the organization that brought this band of heroes together. Evans, with his strong jaw and compelling nature breathes a tangible life into the clean-cut boy scout and portrays a man who we are able to believe is willing to sacrifice himself for his best friend even after being betrayed and who can also just sit back and listen to some Marvin Gaye; such an accomplishment deserves some credit and The Winter Soldier will no doubt receive that as it will likely go down as one of the better films to come out of this cinematic universe.

This is one movie that was a must add to my Blu Ray movie collection for years to come. As a comic book fan since I was a child (now 36) I have to admit, Captain America was not one of my favorites. I never disliked him. Just not on my radar. This movie won me over even more than the 1st film or The Avenger movie. The story plot is phenomenal. The cast of actors and actresses is so strong. Very believable movie even though it's based on a comic book. It touches base on real life issues and meshes it within the Marvel Universe. If you are a fan of superhero movies this is a can't miss! This Best Buy Exclusive Steel book 3D/BR/ iTunes HD Digital is worth the extra couple dollars compared to the other versions. Just keep in mind this edition Does NOT include a DVD version.

Story wise they came through with a good one. Good flow from the 1st and Avengers movie. Even played into the TV, Agents of SHIELD, if you watched it. And the post credit was a nice setup for Age of Ultron. Picture quality is good and clean. No bad artifacts, dull colors even in the cgi scenes. Sound was lacking for a DTS-MA track. The Gaurdians preview had better sound in DD. Wasn't expecting much sound though as even in IMAX wasn't too impressed

Saw this movie on Theater, and now I saw it again with the 3D. The movie with the story had a good time seeing it. Could slow it down to see more special items and was great to see it on my TV.

Of all the Blu Ray purchases I've committed to buying for 2014 I promised myself that I would get Cap Amer WinterSoldier. I am pleased to say that it was worth it. The extras are awesome. Worth every penny.

I really liked the first Captain America & was really excited by the second one!! More action that takes your breath away!! A great story and superb acting!! A must own DVD!!!

This is one of the best Marvel superhero movies yet IMHO. Action packed. Liked much better than the first Captain America movie, which was very good too.

I like the first Captain America, so I watched this one. It's good, for a superhero movie. Lots of special effects, which are really cool in 3D. I'm glad I watched it in 3D, otherwise it would have been only ok to me. I'm not a big superhero movie person. But since I did watch it in 3D, it was very entertaining.

It is a good thing that Blu-ray discs are so durable, because I will be watching this movie over and over and over again.

Like "The Empire Strikes Back", this second of a trilogy is darker, grittier and action packed.

Captain America got better in this one, more action...

The HDR color improvements are much like the textural upgrades: obvious and vital but never overwhelmingly significant. There's an appreciable add to depth and vitality that, even prior to comparisons, is obviously much more robust than Blu-ray can muster. The UHD reveals a firmer palette, offering greater nuance across the spectrum, from the aforementioned whites to much deeper blacks that manage to add significant depth without compromising low light details or veering into crush. Skin tones are healthier and fuller as well. Colors on Captain America's shield and uniform, particularly once he moves on to the more colorful version later in the film, bear similar fruits, boasting of added intensity and depth without fundamentally altering the core color grading. There are some fun moments of heightened luminance and color intensity, even on little things like sparks during a car chase in chapter 11. That same chapter offers a few daytime explosions that produce much brighter, more intense fireballs: reds, oranges and blazing-hot whites all appear with greater contrast and color punch that the Blu-ray simply cannot approach. The image reveals no source or encode shortcomings of note. This is a quality, just not staggering, upgrade. It's a worthwhile successor to the 2014 Blu-ray and easily the best way to watch The Winter Solider at home.

Probably the best in the Captain America trilogy, the story follows Steve Rogers as he grapples with the shock that not only is his closest friend Bucky Barnes still alive, but he is also the assassin known as the Winter Solider. Leaning on the influence of Three Days of the Condor, Rogers also uncovers the stunning realization that SHIELD has been infiltrated by Hydra. The movie introduces several Marvel characters besides the aforementioned Winter Soldier, including the Falcon, Agent 13, Agent Rumlow (aka Crossbones) and the SHIELD Strike Team, Alexander Pierce and the World Security Council, and Jasper Sitwell. The story is multi-layered and very intriguing, even the you-need-to-suspend-disbelief moment when Rogers and the Black Window encounter Arnim Zola. I bought the 4K Ultra version as an upgrade to my 3D Blu-Ray. The clarity is outstanding and worth the upgrade.
