This is a fantastic game! Obviously does not look as well as the Switch version but plays nearly the same. Joycon stick maybe gives a bit better control than the circle pad. Also the game world can pivoted with the touch screen. The game displays in 3D if played on a 3DS.

I was surprised that the 3DS also got a port of the original Wii U release. However, interestingly enough, this version is more faithful to the original than the Switch version due to the second screen. Graphically, while an obvious lower-res downgrade, it's a very beautiful game for the 3DS, making the most of its limitations. I wish the 3DS game was priced $10 cheaper than the Switch release.

Excellent puzzles and graphics. Particularly the 3d effect on 3ds looks awesome and there are tons of levels to complete

One of my favorite puzzle series games. I have it on 3 different platforms. If you like puzzles with lite platform style game play then you will like this game. Each level will likely have to be played multiple times to achieve all the items. Overall great game.

didnt think this was going to be a game i would like so i completely passed over on it. Well i finally played super mario 3d land for the wii u and the toad levels in that game that these are based on were my absolute favorites. If you love a good puzzle game that gets more challenging as it progresses then this is the game for you!

If you like Puzzle games, this is a highly addictive game, its based on the mini game from Super Mario 3D World, its based on a 3D landscape, and you have to have Captain Toad go through various obstacles, he cant jump so you have to get to the end by walking and avoiding several enemies, it might not sound fun, but it is.

The premise for Captain Toad is simplistic: you play toad and need to reach a star on each level. Toad can't jump but you can move your camera around to get a different perspective and find secrets hidden throughout each level. The game uses its limitations to create unique levels that stand out from each other and are always fun to explore.

I think that is a really good game! I haven’t completed it yet but I’m having fun so far. That’s only because I’m spending time on some other games, but it’s a nice puzzle game and it’s really fun. Also, if you play this game and feel Toad should get into Super Smash Bros, send letters to Nintendo. (I have no idea how to get letters to them.)

Captain toad treasure tracker is a perfect game for handheld. It works great on the switch, but it is honestly one of the best 3ds games. Wonderful graphics and just the right kind of game for the system. Plus it actually controls a bit better with the touch screen

I have this on Wii U, Switch and 3ds. I love this version for the 3d effects. Few games being released still use 3d effects and this one does a great job implementing them. Otherwise, this version is the same as the switch version, albeit at a lower resolution.

This is better than the switch version. You have 2 screens can move the camera with the touch screen and the 3d effect is always a nice bonus. Graphic downgrade from switch but the extra screen makes up for it.

It's a fun game and there are so many things to explore in this game. If you love to find every hidden treasure in the game, you will love this game. Toad is a cute character and you will definitely spend lots of time in this game.

Nintendo does it again with a fun and challenging game that provides hours of enjoyment! Toad is easy to play and has enough challenge to keep your mind off the rest of what’s going on in the world today!

Bought thus for my 8 year old who is a huge mario fan and he loves it. He says it's a lot of fun and keeps him entertained. He got about 6 new games for his birthday and out of all of them, this is the one he plays the most.

Although this is the 3DS version, it has added levels and features that aren't there in the Wii U version. Nintendo has done it again. Just as fun as it's console counterparts.

Fun game with very creative levels and additional challenges in each so you can play each multiple times. First party Nintendo games are usually the best ones

I’m still a 3DS player because I love the classic Nintendo characters. This game is fun but fairly easy. Cute animations. I love Toad!

Started stockpiling games as it looks like system will be discontinued soon and this is one of the titles you want to have on the 3ds.

I had reservations about getting this as I already have it for the Wii U but they have added enough new content to justify getting and playing this again.

I recommend collecting Physical cartridge fo any 3ds/2ds console, for 19 dollars this is a great game, my kids will love it.
