Purchased this product because of check engine light that my car had on for sometime. To take to a mechanic would cost me about $150.00 to have it analyzed. Automatic just cost me under $100.00 and fixed the problem and I have it for any future check engine light turning on. As a added benefit, it's also compatible with Amazon Alexa which is cool.

I really like how everything connects automatically (hence the name). Can easily tag business related drives but you can't export that info right now. Many OBDs can easily show dashboard-type information while you are driving, but with this item you can only see that info with 3rd Party apps. This is not a huge negative unless you are an Android user. Most of apps including DashCommand are iOS only. Do not get this if you have an Android, go with another OBD.

Overall very happy with this purchase. I got this to replace the OnStar in my vehicle. Plugging it into the ODB Port gives me information like fuel economy, miles driven, GPS route, etc. if I were ever to be in an accident it would also let my emergency contacts know. Best of all it's free - no monthly charges.

Pretty neat little device. It can link to an Amazon echo and you can ask it where your car is.

Bought this mainly for the integration with Nest. I always forget to turn on the A/C when leaving the office, but now it happens automatically. I have a rule setup that tells the Nest to turn on the A/C when my car is started within 3 blocks of my office, M-F, and after 5pm. Great feature!

I love my automatic odbII module, it tells me error codes for my vehicle and allows me to see every infinitesimal detail of my car. I connected it to the dash command app on my phone, and can see just about every little detail I could imagine on my car. Just awesome!

Looked into these for a couple years and glad I finally got one. Ended up finally getting one in anticipation of a long road trip so I could diagnose any potential errors along the way. Thankfully no problems but I do love sifting through all the data Automatic obtained from the trip.

I compared a few different auto adapters and decided to grab this one when I saw it was on sale. It collects the info I was looking for plus some other cool items you can access with 3rd party apps. Also the web portal has some cool ways to look at the data.

Very cool device, I love digging into my trip data. My van is a bit older (2000 econoline) so it only estimates mpg, but it gets pretty close to my calculations.

The app and the product are great. It makes it clear how you are driving and how much you are spending. Takes the headache away of engine light worries.

I use this with my iPad mini2, I bought the app to allow me to see diagnostic info in real time, works perfectly. Gives you a wealth of information based on the year and model of your vehicle.

I like it enough that I will be purchasing for my other vechile and my son's as well. The crash protection alone is worth the cost l.

The product did as advertised and the app was well designed. Only issue for me was the unit drained my car battery in under 3 days on back to back occasions. The return process was quick and easy.

I bought this item to monitor my driving habit, it filled that requirement. Most useful function is the parking spot locator.

It will make you drive a little safer just so you can achieve that goal and the casing is a dishwasher safe reusable cup!
