Great light weight camera shoulder strap. Easy to attach to camera attaches to tripod mount. Light weight stays on shoulder, camera moves easily on strap.

I bought this to make it easier to carry my DSLR. The sling attaches to the tripod mount of the camera. It works but the attachment prevents the camera from sitting flat when you put it down.
The camera hands to my side now and that is much better than hanging around my neck with the original strap. If there was a different mount I would have given it five stars.

I use this for a Canon DSLR with a heavy lens that was originally tiring my shoulders down. Now it is very easy to handle the camera as it slides on this strap. The only flip side is it takes the screw slot at the bottom of my camera that is used for mounting the camera on tripods. Now to use a tripod, I have to first unscrew the strap.

At first I wasn't sure how this strap would work for me. I wanted something that would allow me quick access, but felt safe and comfortable just hanging around my neck. I used to own a sling bag, but didn't always want to carry the bag with me - big and bulky. That's where this strap has come in very handy - easy access as the loop slides on the strap and way more comfortable than the standard strap. Plus, doesn't pull on your neck because it's strapped across your body.
I would highly recommend this strap!

I highly recommend this. Bought it for wedding photography and have used it for every day photos as well. I've used the strap while mountain hiking and vacationing. I love that you can adjust where the camera falls on your side. I was a little skeptical at first however I prefer this strap over the general neck strap because it is significantly easier to carry your camera. The only disadvantage I have found is while vacationing and no one is around to take a family photo. We had to take the strap off to set the camera flat on a surface with a timer to take the picture because the strap screws into the bottom of the camera.

Great Camera Sling for the price

I've looked at the expensive ones and this one for less than half price, works fine for the non-professional. Compared to the expensive ones, the stap is about 6 inches shorter than the $$$ ones. I have long arms and 6 ft tall so it will work fine for most. The shoulder pad does not have enough grip to hold it in place but this is a minor inconvenience. The screw attachment to the camera is just like the $$$ ones and stays on tight! The purpose of this strap is to have your camera hang by your side rather than around your neck. I leave my Canon on as it has excellent power saving; have left it on all day while walking and quickly bringing it up with one hand and getting that great picture. If you've always shot pics with an over the neck strap, and like to "shoot from the hip" this is a great accessory to have!

The strap is reasonably comfortable and is good quality.
I've looped a short strap from the camera body's shoulder strap loops through/around the sling strap because I'm worried about the sling's plastic mount cracking, sending my camera body to the ground. It has not broken though--I might be paranoid :-)
My only gripe is there is no way of holding the camera towards your back as with some pricier options. For the casual photographer it's not much of an issue.

I was simply shopping for a camera strap that did not have "Nikon" emblazoned on it for travel overseas, but the only strap my local Bestbuy carried was this one, so I opted to give it a try.
It works very well, and makes it quite easy to pull the camera up for shooting at a moments notice, while hanging unobtrusively yet not ungainly or in the way while not in use.
While on a working trip in India I discovered I could use the strap while riding on the back of a motorcycle and capture good shots (Nikon D5100) while zooming along.
Do be aware that the strap does not mount via the usual camera strap slots, but by means of a sliding mount that screws into the base of the camera; that is, it screws into the tripod mount. Thus, you cannot leave the strap on if you need to put it on a tripod, which is a little inconvenient.
The only other issue was that it made the camera taller and caused some issues with how my camera bag is set up. In general however, I love this strap and plan to use it regularly wherever I am.

Great strap for the cost. Very basic, but does what you need. No lock on the strap to keep the camera from swinging when you bend over, but that isn't a big issue. Also the attachment to the camera doesn't lay flat, which makes it almost impossible to leave attached when your camera is in a bag so you have to attach/detach a lot, but not the end of the world. Overall, very good for the price.

I got this primarily so I could take pictures at the San Jose Bike Party, a monthly event where a couple thousand bikers go out for a ride. I also frequently take pictures from my bike because its easy to chase a shot or whatever. The sling is great because you can securely wear the strap over your neck/shoulder so that it wont fall off, but quickly and easily bring the camera to the shooting position.
Three things to watch out for:
1. The shoulder pad isnt grippy so it slides around a lot, and may fall off if you only wear it on one shoulder.
2. Getting on and off my bike, I have to be careful so that it doesn't swing forward and hit my handlebars.
3. The plastic ring holding the strap. I'm slightly skeptical of the build quality of the plastic ring connecting the screw to the rest of the strap, but then again, it is Case Logic, and supposedly designed for DSLRs so I shouldn't have to worry.

I travel overseas and always have my camera "hanging" around my neck and by the end of the day----my neck is stiff ----I have a headache and my shoulders hurt. I bought the quick sling cross-body strap on impulse......I used it for 6 weeks of travel in Alaska and I love it!!!!!---No stiff neck, headaches, or sore shoulders at the end of the day---Easy to use---camera slides up for quick use---I want leave home without it----great product .......

I got this for a gift and immediately thought I was going to return it because it wasn't what I was expecting when I asked for a new camera strap. I decided to give it a try for an outdoor photo shoot and quickly changed my mind. I loved having my camera fall to the side instead of swinging around in front. I felt like my camera was much more secure with this strap and it was very comfortable to wear.

I bought this after someone recommended a different item, and I found it hard to get. Best Buy had this, which seemed to be quite comparable to the recommended item. I found it pretty good! Once you get it adjusted, you can carry the camera basically on your hip, not bouncing around on your chest. It is still then available to grab quickly. Great for hiking in the bush!
Only minor concern, the screw that attaches to the camera has a tendency to loosen slowly. It's fine if you check it every so often. Also, don't expect to carry a huge telephoto lenses attached to your camera at the same time, it gets a little too much!
Overall, a nice cost efficient strap.

This Camera sling works much better than an over the head neck strap. The ability to move your camera down to your side out of the way to move a model or inanimate object to the perfect spot then grab the camera and back to snapping pics. It's perfect.

My husband was a bit skeptical at first and didn't think this was a necessary purchase. He changed his mind after we both used the sling during a trip to Germany and found it incredibly convenient, comfortable, and good quality. The camera was securely fastened to the sling and slid easily along the strap, which is adjustable. It takes pressure off the neck and allows for you to keep your camera close, but out of the way during activities. We continue to use it, even when we're not traveling.

I luckily found this camera strap on sale. What a find! I've seen other camera straps similar to this for twice as much. It does exactly what it needs to do: it allows my camera to hang by my side (I don't like straps that sometimes make the camera sit on your chest), and when I need the camera it can be pulled up to get a shot right away. The sliding ring means the strap itself stays in place while the camera moves along the strap.
The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is the strap quality does seem a little flimsy and it is narrow, but it's just a personal preference for me that it could be wider and a bit sturdier.

It works well and is seems very secure when installed correctly. It is easy to use and works as advertised. The price was pretty good, being lower then traditional straps and there is more padding. However, the padding does seem a little on the lower end of the quality scale. The worst part is that it attaches using the hole on the bottom of the camera reserved for tripods. If you're a big tripod user, this product may not be for you.
