this game is pretty fun and interesting to play. this kill time and pass the day. it's a great filler while waiting for a new game to come out

It's a nice and short game with a relaxed but streamlined pace, and a huge difficulty spike if you chose to get the true ending. Go for it.

Fun game with added extras from the original. Also updated music again from the other 2 releases of the game. Own it on PC and 3ds as well.

Note: This game is not a long game. You can beat it in 5 hours or less. Even with additional challenges and bonuses, it won't take a long time to uncover everything. Even so, this is one of the best indie games with mass appeal. It's the simple "jump and shoot" mechanic that is termed "Metroidvania". There is not much exploration here (for secrets) and things are pretty much linear. Yet, it's fun for a few days. Plus, Nicalis packs this physical release with a "NES/GBA" style booklet and a mini music CD.

Great new old school game. It has multiple endings to make you want to play again. I wish I would've played it when it first came out.

My kids/grandkids love this game, having lots of fun playing and keep playing which is the key so they must like it...

This is a great platformer to play on the go! Good story as well, and interesting and unique mechanics for powering up your weapons.

This game plays like an old school SNES game, which is a good thing (to me, at least). Only downside is that the game is a bit short, but it's priced accordingly.

Great re-release that can be played on the go. If you've beat it already might not be worth rebuking unless your a collector.

This is my first time playing Cave Story and I'm having a blast. The game is very well made and fits perfectly on the Switch.

Fun to pick up and play for short spurts. Easily the best version of this game and some great extras with the physical copy

While the game is originally from 2004, it holds up extremely well today. Enhanced graphics look great on the portable screen and the gameplay is fluid.

There are no more copies with pre-order bonuses. Thus it is not worth more than $15. This is what you can pay on STEAM.

This give good vibes of the 8 & 16 but era. If your into that with exploration and platforming, then give this a look.

Controls and gameplay are extremely fun. Feels old school but with its own twist in mechanics. Great purchase for $30
