Was looking for an option to stove. You can't always cook in winter. It works great. It's easy to clean. Usually there isn't even any smell.

I love fried foods but they are not the healthiest choices out there. This air fryer may become my new favorite tool in the kitchen. It is simply to use, cleanup is a breeze, and the food is coming out really good. I learned the hard way that some tweaking is required when it comes to temperature and cook times. The first thing I made was fried chicken based on the guidance in the owner's manual. Following their directions, the outside burned and the inside did not reach the proper temp. But reducing the temp and extending the cook time has excellent results. Next up, I made some fried pickles based on a recipe they included. Those turned out perfectly and tasted great! To use, I fill the basket, insert it, and set the temp and time. While I get the great taste of fried food, my apartment does not smell like grease. The food itself is crispy with no greasy taste or feeling. When done, the food easily comes out of the non stick basket. Cleanup is simple since the basket is top shelf dishwasher safe. Sizewise, I was easily able to cook 5 pieces of chicken in one round. It is perfect for 2-3 people but would require multiple batches for a bigger family. So far, the only major negative is that the exhaust is in the back of the unit. My infrared thermometer said the temperature was around 200 F. This thing needs room to breathe or else it is going to peel the paint off of whatever is close behind or above it. Lastly, just to pass along a tip, a friend told me to lightly rub some olive oil on broccoli or other fresh vegetables, cook them at 400 for 8 minutes, and they are supposed to be amazing. It is the next recipe on my to do list.

This machine has been put to use everyday since we received it, sometimes even multiple times throughout the day. The shipping was SURPRISINGLY fast- we got it in 2 days! Overall, we're VERY pleased with the experience of shopping through bestbuy. Machine works as advertised, makes everything taste amazing. The only drawback for us is that it's small if you want to make family meals you have to run it a few times to get to everybody but that's expected with the size, nothing wrong with the appliance itself.
