I really like this air fryer works great and its really good for cooking without oil.

This is our second Chefman air fryer and third air fryer overall. We started out with an expensive air fryer made by a very popular manufacturer. It was okay but not nearly as nice as the $300 price tag would suggest. I ordered our first Chefman after a relative shared how impressed he was with the brand after purchasing one as a gift for his daughter. The relative is a long tenured professional chef. Ironically, he also owns the same model air fryer as our original and was the reason we chose that brand/model. He told me if he had known the Chefman line was that good, he wouldn’t have wasted the money on his much more expensive fryer. We decided to try a Chefman and we are very happy we did. Once we began using our first Chefman fryer, our original much costlier fryer was stored away and is no longer used. This 3.5 liter Chefman model is smaller than our original 6.5 liter Chefman. It also lacks some of the extra features and the window found on our larger Chefman. However, it barely takes up any counter space and the basket is sufficiently large enough for a typical household. This is the fryer that stays on our countertop and gets the most use. The larger fryer stays in a cabinet beneath it until needed. This fryer has adjustable cooking temperatures that max at 400 degrees Fahrenheit as well as adjustable cooking times. There really aren’t any notable extra features beyond that. While that may seem overly basic to some, I’m not surprised due to the price. To be honest, temperature and cooking time settings are pretty much all we use anyhow. We seldom use any of the additional features on our other Chefman. The display on this fryer is bright and vivid and the menu is very intuitive. It’s easy to operate from start to finish. This Chefman does a quality job of frying. If used properly, food comes out tender and juicy. It makes a low whooshing sound during frying that, although audible, is too low to be annoying or distracting. One problem we had with our other brand fryer is that it would frequently emit large amounts of smoke and trigger the smoke alarms in our house. We don’t have that problem with this fryer nor with our other Chefman. This fryer cooks nice and clean without smoke. It also cooks evenly and thoroughly despite not smoking up the house. Another issue we encountered with our original fryer was that the basket compartment door became misaligned within six-months and became difficult to close. We’ve had no hardware issues on either Chefman fryer. Cleanup is as easy as it gets. Regardless of manufacturer, air fryers are infinitely easier to clean than traditional frying methods. They use very little oil, so there’s no huge greasy mess to clean nor excess oils or grease transferred to the food like with pan frying. There are also no atomized oil particles floating around and sticking to furniture and appliances like with pan frying. This air fryer is an excellent performer, especially at the price. It outperforms my original fryer that costs over three times as much. I hope Chefman can continue to offer such good performance at such a budget friendly price. I honestly won’t waste anymore money on more expensive fryers after seeing how much bang for the buck the Chefman line offers.
