Well, I bought this on a whim just to start to get into the air-fryer scene and see what it's really about. The first few times using this thing were okay.. nothing to write home about. Seems to do the job, but I really didn't see where it's "frying" the food as opposed to just totally drying it out? LOL. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. In any case, I'll continue to use it and learn more about it. So far though, nothing magical about it that I can see?

We've had this now for 4mo, so feel this is an appropriate time for a review. We have used a Crux Air Fryer, and used that for comparison purposes. This Air Fryer has a nice small counter-friendly size, but it comes up short in several areas. First, the start/stop button is tricky - it took awhile to figure out you need to completely cover the button with your finger to get it to respond. You can't simply tap it for it to work properly. That's not a big deal, but an inconvenience nonetheless. Once it's on, the only way to adjust the time or temp is to turn it off, make the adjustment, and turn it back on again. Other air fryers, such as the Crux, can do it on the fly. That's a huge inconvenience. Lastly, the metal grate non-stick insert you put the food onto for cooking has already started peeling, even though it's never been put in the dishwasher and only hand washed. That was strike 3. We just put this to bed, and purchased another Crux.
