The Chirp Contour Decompression and Massage Table provides a great back and neck massage. I've been using it regularly for the past week and have been very impressed. Following are my observations:
- The table is solid and well made with nice material. It weighs 22 pounds, and is 43" long x 22" wide x 7" tall. You set it on the floor to use it, though I'm sure it could be on an elevated table or platform if you prefer. It holds a person up to 250 pounds. It has a wired remote control to adjust settings, and a pocket on the side the remote can be stored in. You can easily store the table under a bed or on it's side in a closet.
- The table adjusts for different heights of individuals. In my household I have one user who is 5'2" and one who is 6'1" and it works well for both of us. You can adjust the position of the neck rollers via the remote, which also adjusts the height of the back rollers. Once you find the right height adjustment, you can save two different user profiles so you can adjust it to the user with one button in the future.
- The table comes with three different massage rollers which are easy to snap in and out to change. The extra rollers, instructions and power cord are all stored in a storage compartment under the seat that lifts up with a latch. There is a soft roller for gentle pressure, a contour roller with four contact points for firm pressure, and a deep tissue roller for a deep tissue massage. You can easily interchange the rollers depending on preference.
- The massage table is all controlled via the wired remote control. You can do a neck massage only, and reverse the direction of the neck massage points. You can also do a back massage only, using either a roll massage mode with even pressure up and down your back and adjust it to 3 different levels of pressure, or a decompress massage mode which moves the rollers in a wave motion to decompress and loosen your back. There are also two levels of heat that can be added to the back massage. You can also select the target massage mode, which is where you can move the roller up or down your back to a spot that needs some work and just let it target that area for as long as you want. This is great if you get knots in certain areas of your back. You can choose to run the neck and back areas of the massage table independently or at the same time.
- In addition to the individual settings for neck and back, there are also three different preset programs. Each preset selects a combination of neck, back and heat settings to achieve a certain goal. The Warm Up Preset is designed for morning or pre-workout use, the Recovery Preset is designed for use on sore muscles after a workout or long day at the office. The Relax Preset is designed to help you relax. I like these presets as it is a one touch button to make all adjustments for different types of massages. Personally, I find myself alternating between them for whatever feels best at the time and often use more than one in a single session.
- While I love all the features, following are a few cons. First, I'd like to see the remote light up better. I find while I'm laying on my back on the floor that the overhead lights don't shine on the remote since it is upside down when you are using it. This isn't a huge deal, as there are not that many buttons, and before long you end up memorizing what each button is, but at first I found myself rolling to the side to get some light on the remote to see what I was doing. Second, the massage table does a nice job massaging up and down your spine and your neck, however I wish it had some rollers that would reach my shoulders as well. You get some massage at the base of your neck, but nothing out by your shoulders. Finally, I'd like to see a longer electric cord. Since it needs to be plugged in, you need to set it up close enough to an outlet to be able to plug it in. This is not a huge deal, as I just use an extension cord to give me a little more flexibility, but a longer cord may have been helpful. All-in-all, these are pretty minor inconveniences for all the features packed into this table.
I've really been enjoying my Chirp Contour Decompression and Massage Table. I work in an office and sit at a desk all day, so I find the decompression massage or the Recovery Preset really help loosen up and decompress my back after work. I also tend to have lower back pain when doing a lot of physical yard work or workouts, so I enjoy the Recovery and Relax modes to help work through that pain. In general, this massage table just feels good, and I recommend it.

The table I never knew I needed.

As the title states, this was a massage table I never knew I needed. Having used many massage pads in the past I questioned how this could be better. My questions were quickly answered.
First off, the build quality is top notch. The unit is well constructed and high quality. Everything about the way this table looks and feels screams high quality while at the same time being able to move around easily and it is not very heavy. My wife who is a petite woman has no problem lifting and moving it around.
A nice feature is the included rollers that are interchangeable between the soft, contour, and deep tissue roller. I recommend starting with the soft roller if you are like me and do not massage regularly and working your way up to the deep tissue massage which is truly deep tissue. You may need to adjust and get used to each roller as did I but I can tell you, it didn’t take long.
The storage area at the bottom of the table was also well thought out allowing you to store your rollers as well as the detachable power supply.
Now why is the table I never knew I needed? At times I suffer from knots in my back and shoulders and as stated, I have tried other massage pads which were ok but never really got the job done. This table upon first use performed way better than any pad I have ever used by getting in deep and working through the knots, even ones I didn’t realize were there.
Since receiving the table it has literally become my nightly routine before bed. I start off with soft roller for about 5 minutes doing a simple roll with the heat on and increasing the pressure with each pass. I then change to the contour roller and use the decompression setting which at first did feel weird for about a minute or two but I quickly got used to it and it had become my go to where I let it run for 10 to 15 minutes which usually does the job.
I have had two instances since receiving the table where I had knots in my shoulders and back do to stress. This is when I switched to the deep tissue massage which really digs in. For a first timer the deep tissue roller may be uncomfortable but as I stated earlier, I recommend easing into it and not using it first as it could make the experience less enjoyable. Needless to say, when running the deep tissue rollers along with the neck massage which should be adjusted for your height, the knots simply melted away.
So now that the Chirp decompression and massage table had become part of my nightly routine I can tell you I now go to bed feeling relaxed and stress free which in turn has helped me sleep better. I wish I knew about this sooner but am glad I have it now.

Bottom Line: The Chirp Contour Decompression & Massage Table offers multiple neck and back massage options in a lightweight and easy to use design.
Pros: very easy to set up and use; multiple back and neck massage options; heat option
Cons: cannot use neck massager separately; not great at shoulder massage
Review: The table is extremely easy to set up and use. The seat doubles as storage for the AC adapter, instruction manual, and alternate rollers. Setup is as easy as connecting the AC adapter to the power cord, lying on the table, and turning it on. The rollers are also extremely easy to change. One button on the remote sets the roller down near the seat compartment, and they are easy to pop in and out.
Mechanically, the roller can move up/down and in/out (more/less pressure). The remote has two patterns: up/down and a wave, which moves up/down with an in/out pattern. You can also adjust the pressure independently and set the rollers to be stationary to target a specific spot. Combined with three different roller options (soft, contour, deep tissue) and two levels of heat (which work very well), you can create a lot of different massage experiences.
The table also includes a neck massager, which can be adjusted up/down to accommodate people of different heights. The massager has two patterns, one of which massages up toward the head and another down toward the shoulders. The neck massager can be turned on or off with the back massager, but there is no option to use the neck massager alone.
Since the back massager stops between your shoulder blades and the neck massager is around your neck, you really won’t get a good shoulder massager from the table. Still, someone who suffers from chronic or occasional back pain will find the Table useful, since it is extremely portable, lightweight, and easy to store at home.

My wife and I both tend to have soreness in our backs so I look for products that could help both of us. I came across the chirp decompression & massage table and it looked promising.
The chirp table comes to you with everything you need for a couple different options for massage. There are three different swappable rollers, a soft one, a deep tissue one, & a contoured one. Other than that, you get an always connected remote and a power cord that is easily detachable for easy storage. All you have to do to set up out of the box is unwrap the chirp table and plug it in.
Once you are plugged in and select the roller type you want use, all you have to do is lay down and turn the chirp on. Besides the roller type, you have many other options to consider for your massage. Do you want to just massage your back with the roller? You can do that. Do you want just decompression? You can do that. Do you want to add in heat or also add a neck massage? Yes this is all possible. You can change pressure, or lock in a target area, or use a preset program to do all of it with the simple push of a button. Besides the massage, the really great feature of the chirp is the portability of the table itself. Weighing in at around 20 lbs, it’s not too heavy to move around as needed using the handle it has on the side. When you are done, the remote and the power cord store in a convenient storage built right into the table. It can also be stored in closets or under furniture fairly easily.
If you are interested in a good back / neck massage, in a smaller form factor, and with many many different options, the chirp decompression & massage table might be a good option for you. With all the options, the storage convenience, and the portability, the chirp does check a lot of boxes.

Effective Relief with a Few Minor Drawbacks

So far, I like the Chirp Contour Decompression and Massage Table quite a bit. I use it primarily for spinal decompression and muscle tension in my back, and it has been pretty effective. I do wish it came with a leg attachment though. That would really help round out the experience. Unfortunately, my wife has not been able to use it because she finds it too rough and uncomfortable. She is more sensitive to pressure and felt it was painful even at the lowest setting.
For me personally, I had no real issues with the intensity. I have tried all three of the massage attachments and the contour roller is by far my favorite. I carry a lot of tightness along my spine and this roller provides a noticeable sense of decompression that feels great during and after a session.
After the first use, I was a little sore the next day, but that was expected since it had been a while since my last massage. The heat function is a great addition and really helps with relaxation. The relax mode is very soothing and feels like it gently works over the entire back.
I enjoy the neck massage as well, and the unit does have an adjustment feature that moves the neck mechanism up and down. However, I found the range of motion to be a bit limited. Even when adjusted, it sometimes misses parts of my neck and shoulders that I would like it to reach. A wider range or more fine-tuned positioning would really improve this part of the experience.
The back massage function reaches from the upper scapula area all the way down to the tailbone, which surprised me. It covers a lot more surface than I expected. So far, I have not had any issues with reliability, but I have owned Chirp products in the past and did experience problems with their back roller. I am hoping this unit lasts a lot longer and proves to be more dependable over time.
One thing I really like is the built-in storage area. It keeps everything organized and makes it easy to store the unit upright in a closet when not in use. It is a smart design that saves space without sacrificing usability.
I would recommend this for anyone who deals with back tension or mild chronic discomfort and wants something to use at home between massage appointments. It will not replace a professional massage, but it does offer maintenance-level relief at your convenience. So far, so good. I look forward to seeing how it performs over time.

Good Complement to Massage Therapy

BACKGROUND: Let me preface this with saying I have chronic pain conditions and get regular deep tissue and trigger point massages. I also have an array of pain relief devices: Theraguns, acupressure mats, compression boots, and stim units.
OVERVIEW: The Chirp Contour Decompression & Massage Table is less a table and more a sturdy mat. It has several different rollers, and remote-control functions for heat, roller decompression target areas, as well as presets for Warm Up, Recovery, and Relax. It also comes with three different rollers: soft, contour, and deep tissue. It is easy to set up and fits under my bed for storage (I could easily lift by myself).
ACTUAL USE:
• I tried this while having a flare up in my neck/shoulders which had been painful the past few days. While the Chirp does not replace a massage, it does a good job of relieving enough tension/pain until further intervention is available (if needed).
• I found the rollers on the neck too intense, (common on most massage mats/chairs) and chose not to use those. The decompression is probably my favorite function. They provide enough pressure to feel effective while still being relaxing and giving a nice stretch to the spine.
• While it does support up to 250 pounds, I did find it on the narrow side and may not be comfortable for everyone. It can also be challenging to get up from, as the neck roller prevents you from just being able to roll over and then sit up.
• While it is FSA/HSA eligible, I do think it is expensive for what it provides. I find it to be a good complement to massage therapy but does not replace regular massages.
RATING: After using the Chirp Contour Decompression and Massage Table for the past week, I believe it earned itself a solid 4-Star Rating.
PROS: Effective for what it says it does. The heat is a welcomed feature. Assortment of Interchangeable Massage Rollers. FSA/HSA eligible for possible cost reduction. Preset Programs. Fairly easy to relocated under a bed.
CONS: High MSRP. Neck and shoulder massagers should have intensity controllability. No easily removable covering for periodic washing. The overall build quality appears somewhat fragile which may contribute to a shorter lifespan.

Relaxation Meets Real Relief!

The Chirp Contour is a multi-function wellness device that combines:
- Spinal decompression / traction (gently lengthening the spine)
- Rolling massage therapy (with interchangeable rollers)
- Heat therapy
It’s intended as an at-home alternative to clinic treatments, aiming to relieve back, neck, and shoulder tension, and to promote spinal alignment and relaxation. The idea is to have a single device that can decompress your spine, massage your soft tissue, and deliver gentle heat in one integrated session. Key advertised features include:
- Automatic calibration to user height (roughly from 5′0″ to 6′5″)
- Interchangeable rollers: Soft, Medium (Contour), Deep Tissue
- Multiple preset therapy modes (e.g. Warm Up, Relax, Recovery)
- Two levels of heat
- Compact footprint (around 43" × 23" × 7") and a weight around 22 lbs ≈ 10 kg
- Stated user weight capacity (commonly up to ~250 lbs)
It's easy to use and calibrate. Setup is quick and not painful: the device auto-detects height and adjusts, which simplifies the start of a session. Its compactness is also a plus; it can fit under couches or beds. That's where mine is stored. One of the strong appeals is that you get spinal traction without needing to flip upside down (as in inversion tables). I used it for a week and it helped relieve pressure, stiffness, and tension in my lumbar spine. The ability to lie flat and let the unit manage the stretching is very comfortable and accessible for me. The rolling massage component, especially combined with heat, gives it a layered therapeutic effect. After every session, I felt looser, and knots/tight spots also tended to relax more easily. Having interchangeable rollers means you can tweak intensity (soft to medium to deep) depending on how your body feels.
Some users may find the intensity (especially with the deeper rollers) too strong at first, particularly if they have sensitive or injured backs but it should start to feel comfortable as they continue using it. I would suggest starting with low intensity and work your way up to the highest level. One of the biggest drawbacks is that the remote control’s buttons are not backlit, which makes usage in dim light less convenient. Though more compact than many clinical devices, it’s still sizable (43" × 23" × 7") and not foldable. I wish it could fold in half for easier storage.
Some things to keep in mind:
- It may be too intense out of the gate for those with sensitive backs.
- It may not be very comfortable for people with serious spinal conditions (herniated discs, severe scoliosis, post-surgery etc.)
- Some users might not respond well or may even worsen discomfort.
- The remote/control interface could be improved (especially for use in low light).
At its price point (around $600 retail) it’s not a trivial investment. You’ll want to weigh whether you’ll use it consistently enough to justify the cost compared to e.g. regular massages, physical therapy visits, or simpler therapeutic tools. If I were to rate it, I’d give it 4 out of 5 for its concept, execution, and user value, acknowledging there are trade-offs and that individual results may vary.

A Gentle Path Back From Serious Back Injury

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
When you've spent months dealing with on-and-off back problems, and then one day something gives out completely (pinched nerves, angry muscles, the whole nightmare), you'll try just about anything to get your life back. I've been there. A couple months ago, I got injured badly enough that even simple movement became excruciating. We're talking bed rest, inability to do basic tasks, and that awful helpless feeling when your spine just won't cooperate. The Chirp Contour Decompression & Massage Table showed up at exactly the right time, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's been a godsend for my recovery.
Here's what this thing actually is: it's a motorized table that combines spinal traction (decompression), rolling massage, and heat therapy in one surprisingly sleek package. I actually had to read the instructions to get started, which isn't typical for me, but setup becomes straightforward once you understand the system. Once you unbox it, pick one of three included roller attachments (soft, contour, or deep tissue), you're ready to go. The build quality is solid, though at 22 pounds and measuring 23 x 43 inches, it's not exactly portable. I keep mine semi-permanently set up in the living room, but it does slide under a bed (or potentially a couch, depending on height) if you need the space. The cloud-soft fabric covering feels premium, and there's a storage compartment built into the base for the extra rollers and remote, though it took me a second to find it initially.
The real magic happens in how it approaches decompression. Unlike aggressive massage tools that dig into you, the Contour uses your own body weight to create gentle traction. There are motorized rollers that move up and down your spine while simultaneously applying upward pressure. This creates negative space in your spinal discs, which theoretically allows herniated or bulging material to retract and promotes better fluid exchange for healing. In plain English: it gently stretches things out without forcing anything. The three roller options give you real control over intensity, and I found different areas of my back responded better to different rollers depending on how angry the muscles were around my spine. I started with the soft roller during my worst days, and even that felt therapeutic. As I've improved, I've worked up to the contour roller (which has four contact points that follow your spine's natural curve) and occasionally the deep tissue option when I need deeper work on stubborn knots.
What impressed me most during my recovery was how non-aggressive this approach is. When you're dealing with pinched nerves and muscles that have been locked up for weeks, the last thing you want is something hammering away at you. The Contour just lets you lay back and work on slowly relaxing those angry muscles around the spine. It's been invaluable for getting some flexion and movement going again, especially in those vertebrae that had been completely stagnant during bed rest that just feel stuck. The heat function (2 intensity levels) adds another layer of relief. It's not heating-pad hot, but it's warm enough to enhance the muscle relaxation. I typically use one of the preset programs: Warm Up for mornings when I'm stiff, Recovery after any activity, and Relax before bed. You can also go full manual mode and control every aspect via the remote.
There are a few quirks worth mentioning. The deep tissue roller can be intense if you're not used to something digging quite that hard into your back. You can slide down a little bit during decompression sessions, which I've noticed, though it's minor and easy to readjust. The remote isn't backlit, so late-night sessions require a nearby light source until you memorize the button layout. At its price tag depending on where you buy it (it's HSA/FSA eligible, which helps), but this isn't the cheapest device out there. It's a lot more affordable than a full-on massage chair, and if you're someone who gets regular massages or chiropractic adjustments for your back and spine, this is a really, really nice product to have at home. Think of it as perfect in-between maintenance between those professional visits, helping keep things moving and aiding recovery.
Bottom line: if you're in the position I was (injured, limited mobility, desperate for something that could safely help you work through recovery), the Chirp Contour delivers. It won't replace professional medical care for serious injuries, but as a daily therapeutic tool for getting movement back, reducing pressure on nerves, and gradually opening up tight, locked-down spinal segments, it's been genuinely life-changing for me. The combination of gentle decompression, customizable massage intensity, and heat therapy provides exactly the kind of multi-modal relief that helps you progress from "can barely move" to "actually functional again." For anyone facing a long recovery road, this table might just become your most-used piece of equipment.

I was very impressed with the Chirp Contour Decompression and Massage Table. It’s a quality product with thoughtfully-designed features.
It has three default programs designed to be used before or after exercise to warm up or cool down. The third program is for relaxation before sleep. I’ve tried each one and can say they really work. I have frequent back issues that sometimes make exercise difficult or daunting, so finding a product that makes me feel ready to exercise and then helps me feel good after exercise is a real game changer.
The table also has a two-level heat feature, that is truly comforting. Together with the massage features, I’ve found it to be an excellent way to relax.
There are three interchangeable sets of rollers that are easy to swap out and store conveniently in the seat. The table is designed to operate only if the rollers are properly seated in the device, which prevents problems.
Initially, I felt like the massage itself was too rough, but I soon realized that I needed to set up my profile to match my height and also to wear soft, comfortable clothes (think sweats). Jeans with a belt is a definite no no!
Finally, the table is designed to be easily set up and stored away. There is a convenient pocket to hold the wired remote and a handle that lets you carry the product and store it away. The seat holds all of the rollers, as well as the power cable.
