What an eye opening film... I can't recommend this enough!

Laura Poitras "Citizenfour" is masterpiece in the age of technology and government surveillance of their citizens. This includes all governements, and government's surveillance of other governments. The strength and resilience of the previously unknown NSA worker, Edward Snowden, is portrayed brilliantly by showing his lack of wanting personal reward and trying to remind us all of the stomping of our personal liberties and the rights we should all always remember we have and should always fight for. Our integrity, privacy, and most importantly freedom of speech is all we have at this time in history. It is quickly resolving due to our lack of action, and we cannot continue to let it happen without a fight.

Whether you want to like or hate the man, his exposure did start a change of transparency that was needed against our government. Of course if you took this "too close to heart" if could make you paranoid, but then you would have failed at why this is important to understand. If you can keep an objective, open mind, you'll appreciate the sacrifices that were made here just as much as those who serve to protect our country.

cannot recommend this film enough. holds up to repeat viewings, is gripping and enlightening, and definitely a must see film that should be shown in the classroom as well as in the home. my only complaint is this doesnot come with a digital copy and to add insult to injury, the digital copies cost more than the physical disc.

The movie was great. He blew the whistle on society being monitored without knowledge. It's nuts how we are being followed.

Well made documentary, eye opening, scary but a must watch for all citizens of the new technological century

A documentary everyone should see... especially those who think we still have freedom in the country.

A must- see for anyone concerned about the encroachment of the surveillance state on our society.

We saw this in the theater and sat riveted to our seats, which you wouldn't expect from a movie that largely takes place in a hotel room with people simply talking. It's a Must-See movie. You are being watched!!

This is such an important film, and I'm glad the filmmakers and Snowden had the courage to make it. Riveting from beginning to end.
