Overall this is a good phone. The sound is adjustable to a volume that both my husband and I can hear well, both through the headset and the speaker. We can adjust so that the volume works either with or without our hearing aids. That said, I have to say that when on speaker, the sound is sometimes distorted, sometimes depending on the caller as well as the level at which the sound is set. We;re still experimenting with that. Also, I wish I had noticed that it does NOT have a caller ID screen; this is the biggest negative, because we can't screen calls on this phone. However, it was the best available at the time, since the one I originally wanted was sold out. Still, this phone is a huge improvement over our previous landline.

I bought this phone for my 80 yr old mom. It is perfect, she is hard of hearing , so the features are working to help her hear her friends. The large numbers also help with weak sight.

Excellent- but this item does NOT come with an answering machine as stated in your Best Buy post.

Tried four times to get a black phone as pictured. Each time it came is silver or white. Finally gave up

We own a cafe and take many phone orders in a busy and noisy workplace -- this is the perfect phone. I plugged it in and a number of our team are so excited, they can hear our guests clearly, and can turn up the volume as they need to depending on our busyness, and sound volume in a small space of 10 people working. This has changed our level of service.
