Best phone we've tried so far! Large screen so we can see the caller ID information clearly. Functions great with caller ID and the phone company answering service with one button dial to get your messages that you program. Red light shows when you have messages so you don't have to keep lifting the receiver to see if you have messages. Bright flashing white light so you know a call is coming in. Ringer can be turned off along with three loudness settings; low setting is plenty loud. We haven't tried setting up speed dial yet, so can't comment on that. A second red light shows when the line is in use. This phone is excellent for screening out those robo callers. Numbers light up for easy use in the dark. My wife would have liked greater amplification and to have the phone white with black numbers so she could see the numbers better. No phone is perfect, but this isn't far from that!
