    Last a long time on battery and range is good. Only thing is every once in awhile you will pick someone else up and you can talk.

    Real good product for teens and up, kids have problems pressing the button to talk without their thumbs or fingers changing the settings by hitting one of the buttons on the face.

    The rain sucks, that's the only downside. For the price that works in a neighborhood with 1 acre lots and I can get two blocks away. The only thing extra that you would have to purchase on your own is rechargeable batteries. It has a MicroSD charger plug to charge those on its own like a cell phone.
