Does what it's supposed to do very well

It loses one star for not allowing mac users to take advantage of the map viewer feature. Only windows software is available. That feature is real cool. It allows you to look at speeds and locations of your saved routes.

Good cam, but...

However, I question the build quality and durability of the product. I had the camera for less than two weeks and the power adapter burned out. It took two more weeks for a replacement to arrive from Cobra. Best Buy customer service was of no help in that regard (special order I was told).

Does The Job

The quality of video that it captures is pretty good, even at night. The suction cup has worked flawlessly and shows no sign of wear after almost daily removal from the windshield. I've had two issues: Overheated/blown power adapter and recording playback issues (using Cobra's PC app). I would still buy another one.
