Great product if your chatty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With everything integrating party chat or in game chat, this makes it easy to send a quick message to someone with have having to use the controller to scroll through each individual letter. It is also nice as a battery backup to your controller. The one downfall is that it registers as an audio device so you have to go into settings to change the audio input and output every time you turn on your unit.

prefer a USB keyboard

With the game i play(FF14) it takes forever for the chat bar to start typing anything. I have to tap a key then wait to type. With a keyboard, its instant. On the plus side, its basically a battery so you don't have to plug your controller for a while if you're using it.

The keyboard's barely with buying

I hate scrolling through the letters on the screen's keyboard one by one using only my PS4 remote. I thought it'd be convenient to get the remote keyboard, but not really. The PS4 has a hard time reading my keyboard via Bluetooth sometimes, I couldn't figure out how to use it to quickly type and search for videos on the PS4 YouTube app, and the system even confuses the keyboard for a headset. Every time I turn on the PS with the keyboard connected to the remote, I have to select my tv as the output device for the audio under settings. Overall it does make typing a little faster for me, but not by much and it definitely did not meet my expectation.
