I needed more space and instead of getting an external hard drive where I would have to plug it in the side or back and just have it sit there, I decided to go with this option. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and it was very easy to plug in a hard drive and snap into place. WARNING: Do not force the attachment onto the Xbox unit. Take your time as it will snap right into place when installing it correctly by following the directions. The design is very sleek and it looks like it actually goes with the Xbox. The additional three USB ports are nice too. The only draw back I have had is that the USB port sometimes lags to my wireless headset and I do not have the same amount of distance. This was easily fixed by moving my USB dongle for my wireless headset to the back of the unit and charging my headset and controller in the front of the unit by using one of the three USB additional ports. If you are like me and care about the look of your Xbox and need additional space / USB ports, go with this option, you won't be disappointed. :-) GOOD PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A+ DESIGN!

It fits and matches the Xbox One great. But out of the 4 connectors, only 3 of them fully locks in when you snap the adapter to the Xbox One. Which is not too bad because when do you ever move the Xbox around anyways. My Xbox One has been sitting in the same spot since I bought it. I still wish it was four 3.0 usb ports instead of 3. If the green light wasn't on the front, they could have put another port in place of the light and then made it so that the USB ports glowed green while connected to show which ports are in use. Or put a USB port on the side of the adapter in the same spot over lapping the side usb port where you connect the adapter to the Xbox One. Also the pairing button that replaces/covers the old pairing button is very hard to press in on the adapter. So the great things about the adapter is that it fit/matches the Xbox One without you noticing it's there. It gives you 3 more usb ports. And it has a storage compartment for an extra hard drive. So instead of having a wire with a hard drive hanging out of your Xbox One, it hides inside of the adapter leaving your Xbox free of wire clutter

This is a good way to add some functional ports on the Xbox One and storage. I added a 1tb SSHD(Hybrid Drive). Works as expected, install the HDD and format it. Just tell Xbox to install new stuff on it. I've not noticed and slow down or issues having the games on the external. I've not done a speed comparison.

I wanted to add a SSD to my XBox One due to slow boot times with the built-in drive. I got a decent SSD and instead of a standard enclosure with a cable hanging out the side or back of the console, I opted for the Collective Minds enclosure. It does feel a little cheap, but it's ok for me since it's not an accessory that i'd be moving around all that much. Once it's installed, it stays put. Looks great too. If you're not paying attention, it looks like it's a part of the console. Getting the SSD to recognize took a few tries, but that could be because of the drive, the USB ports on the enclosure worked right away. I like the enclosure and the SSD does wonders with boot/load times greatly reduced. Happy with the purchase!

Works great. Looks great better than something sitting their and wires hanging. It is a great way to add a hard drive with no wires and looks like its part of the console. Also has usb so you can easily plug something in front if you need a charge or something plugged in. Your only other option is the back or side where this goes and it being on a tv shelve was just a pain, but this adds them to your front. I followed the instructions and their internet site, but ended up figuring another way to set the hard drive so instructions are a little useless for me. If your having trouble setting it the hard drive for games and not media use a usb 3.0 cable to format it then attach directly to console. I would have gave a 5 star, but since their instructions didn't work i give it a 4. Great product definitely recommend!

The first time I hooked it up it worked. It then gave me 3 more usb 3.0 ports. It helped tremendously.

It's a perfect fit for my Xbox one. I bought this without a hard drive for it but it looks perfect works the way it supposed to. I will enjoy it more when I buy a hard drive to put in it. And a power cord to plug into the back of it so that I could enjoy the USB 3.0 in the front. Some day... some day. Lol.

This Xbox one attachment wasn't what I had expected. It feels low quality for the price and it doesn't attach nicely to the exbox one. Also I thought I would be able to hide my seagate slim drive in its compartment but it is meant to fit SSDs and small hard drives. It was a waste of money!

First time getting it fitted on, it did not register the hard drive. Second time worked perfectly. This will be useless for the soon to be released system. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller. Clean design to match the current console though. No wires or extra power cords or dangling external hard drives.

I got this so I can have more USB ports while also using an internal hdd for more storage, sadly its only for the original model Xbox One and not the slim

Tried using this with a 1 TB 2.5 HDD. The hub not only bent the controller assign button on the console but seem to not have enough juice to keep the drive running. I ended up using a SATA wire to see if it was a bad HDD. The Console was able to see it and format at that point. Once I put back in to the collective minds hub and plugged back in to the console something snapped. Not only did it not read the drive but the vent on the XBox got pushed in. Was able to pull it back out however one of the snaps on the hub broke off. I really did want this to work but that just wasn't the case.

Nice product. I didn't want to just have an external hard drive sitting on top of my Xbox One, so this was perfect. Matches the style of the console also which is a plus.

I bought it just to get the USB ports to the front of the X-Box as getting to the back was really hard with the X-Box in a cabinet. Made it much easier to swap USB add-on's. I haven't added a HD yet so I can't comment on that.

It works great and saves my games really great I just love it

Its a great concept but it wouldn't stay connect through the usb port or the drive connected that went inside. Xbox one needs extra usb ports and thought this would work but it wouldn't stay connected.

I'm really happy so far it doesn't look like an accessory!!! I'll recommend it for sure!!!

Great device and works well. I can never have too many USB 3.0 ports on a device.
