Range Not Too Good

You can use your factory key fab or the Compustar remote to start your car. The range on the Compustar remote is supposed to give you a better range, but it doesn't.

False Information Was Given

I had it installed and guess what? When you open the door, the engine cuts off. I have a push button starter. I am very disappointed.

Install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my remote start 2 weeks ago and had it installed one week form today, the overall process 8 hours. My appointment for the install was at 5 pm and I dropped my car off and was told the car would be done close to closing time of best buy. At 830pm I was called and told it would be another hour, which meant BB would be closed, the tech said he would stay after to get it done. Well 1030 pm came and went and still no phone call on an update, so I drove up to BB and knocked on the bay door to my surprise my car is still being worked on and the tech said o yeah it will be a few more minutes so I told my wife to go home, I sat in the waiting room of the bay shop from 11 till 1 in the morning which was 2 more hours instead of just a few minutes by time he stated he was done. Now when I use the remote start the starter on my car is being over cranked when starting. This overall experience with Best Buy and their installer was a complete joke of service, and seemed like instead of finishing his job correctly he was just done after lying to me repeatedly on what the situation was with my car and why after dropping my car off at 5pm, which on the email states it takes up to 3 hours to finish a remote start not 8. I will not be using the Geek squad or any other type of services Best Buy offers to have anything setup again, with that type of time frame I could have done the install myself watching videos, probably should have someone who knows what they are doing, install your components. WASTE OF 120 DOLLARS for an install. As to referring this to a friend please I would never put someone I know through that kind of mess I dealt with.
