The remote is ok, and the range as well, I should’ve gone for one with an actual display as the lighting on the remote aren’t a great tell of confirmation when you silence the remote.

Got this before winter starts and have been very useful so far. And best buy install is also great

Got this for my girlfriend's Jeep Cherokee. The installation was quicker than they said and it was very clean. It works with her original key fob, but the new fob gives notification of the vehicle starting, so we use that one.

I had this installed on my wife's 2015 Honda CRV. It was a nightmare. The Best Buy crew refunded the money and ultimately removed the device, but not before 4 visits, another 3 visits to a mechanic, and a new starter installed. It is hard to say if the starter needed to be replaced eventually or the remote starter caused it to go. It is also hard to say if the aftermarket radio Best Buy installed also caused some of the havoc, but needless to say, all our problems stopped after disconnecting the remote starter. Before we replaced the starter (the diagnosed cause of our issues told to us by Best Buy), the car would randomly not start. And I mean not start by pressing the ignition, not via remote.

I love how the fob blinks to let you know the engine is running. This is useful if you’re not sure whether you accidentally turned off the engine (the same button on the fob starts and stops the engine). Thoughtful design.

This starter is very convenient, especially during the winter months. I've yet to have a problem starting my car when I use it. The whole system is very convenient, and I've liked how the starter lights up to let me know the car has been started.

Would recommend it if was asked about a good product

Caught a deal on Black Friday for over 50% off with installation and couldn't pass it up. Glad I didn't. Have performed exactly as I hoped. Not all that well versed in the remote starter game, but this is as good as the few that I have had.
