It works, you get what you pay for. 3 different times the car turned off after remote start, I got in and pressed the brake and the engine stopped.

This unit works well, I only wish that the lights flashed while running for confirmation. My wife’s car is parked in the barn across the property and can’t hear it running from the house.

Great range for needs. Like the 2-way comm's. Only changed battery once.

It's great when it works but I haven't quite figured out what limits the range. When indoors, it can be frustrating to find a spot where it will actually connect.

I think I need to get this out to whoever is shopping for this and wants to install it at BestBuy. I purchased the remote start system and had it installed on my 2017 Lexus RX350 about a year and half ago. Now, it just failed on me. The auto head light feature in my car stop working all the sudden so I brought it back to the dealership and had the technician looked at it. It turned out that the "harness" was damaged and causing the sensor to fail. I paid $500 to have it removed and replaced the bad part and everything start working again. I don't know if this was caused by the installer or the remote starter. Not to mention that I did the compatibly check prior ordering the system. And yes, the manufacture website said it is compatible. I called 1800bestbuy after and the person I spoke to said there is nothing they can do and suggested me to call the store instead which I did. But the phone just keeping ringing and ringing and nobody would pick it up. I guess I will take the lost this time because it worked for a year and half.

Although the geek squad install was pretty flawless, I'm having issues with a device. It takes about four or five clicks to start the engine even though we're less than 50 feet away from the car. In addition, at times just clicking the lock button will for some reason and start the engine and that is not a good thing lol
