The starter is good thing the notification sound it makes after the the car has started

After one year effected my rav 4 2016 electronics. Windows won't roll down, low tire pressure indicator came on, and backup camera does not work. I had to pay over $400.00 to remove it at the car dealer. The remote start worked fine actually, but was causing trouble in the car electrical system.

Works fine except depending on the vehicle, car will shut off when unlocking/opening the door after remote starting which is inconvenient and sort of defeats the purpose of you have to start the car twice.

Don’t plan on getting your vehicle in when you schedule it. They made us wait another week after schedule date.

Bought this car started back in 2019, it’s 2021 and doesn’t start anymore, you have to turn your vehicle on first with your key, so known as, go outside start your vehicle than you can turn off your vehicle & use the key… super bummed that the car starter doesn’t work like it should.

Only bad thing is you can't start from your phone!

Nice Auto start. Will help during the winter if the car is parked outside.

It stopped working after having installed it for 6 months. Had to schedule an appointment to get it looked at that was a month out. Was looked at and said it needed a software update and should be fine for the next couple of years. It worked for a couple of months and stopped working again. I have called and called to get an appointment to repair it and have not got a callback. I have left messages at the store and talked to Customer Care reps. I was told to go to the store where I got it installed and the installation department would. I told them the only day I could go was Fridays. They said that would be fine and that the tech would be sent a note that I would be bringing my car to have looked at. I drove 30 minutes to Best Buy to find out the installation department is closed on Fridays. I have now been calling the other location to get an appointment and I was told to schedule one online which it does not let you schedule a repair appointment only an installation.
