I bought this for my wife. She likes it a lot. Works like it's supposed to.

Had the device installed and had to return 4 different times to Best Buy due to features not working including trunk and door locks. Device still does not work properly and absolutely does not start car from 3000 feet as advertised. Does not consistently start car from 300 feet away. Very frustrated and disappointed in the device itself as well as the installation process. Still unsatisfied.

You need a t harness also. Sold separately. Consider that also.

I like it but it doesn't always work correctly need to take it in to have looked at plus I got no owners manual

Pathetic experience.. I came here for electric start installation all the way from Trenton.. Technician was not feeling well and after opening my car he asked me to come back next day as he is unable to fix car due to health issue.. Manager is not ready to pay travel expenses to and fro that is $ 150 from here to Trenton on Uber.. post that just to save travel cost they asked same Technician to fix my car to as is state.. I am feeling bad about technician and in parallel feeling angry about management who can not handled the situation well.. important things is there is no back up technician for such a situation.. not at all recommended store. It's ruined my entire day..

Do not buy from Best Buy. After installation the climate control did not work in the vehicle. I called them to see what can be done and I was put threw the automated system. Then waited 10 mins to get anyone on the phone. Then I was transferred 3 times. The last time I was transferred to was a recording of "We are experiencing technical problems. Please call back later." then hung up on me.

DO NOT DO IT!!! Best Buy techs have no idea what they are doing with the installation! My dad’s car shutoff on the highway in the middle of nowhere in the freezing cold. It would not turn back on at all! This is absolutely dangerous and life threatening! We had to drive over an hour just to get to him and pick him up. Now we have to pay for a tow truck and pick it up. I’m in process of dealing with Best Buy customer service to get reimbursed for the tow truck and part. My dad is an Uber driver and lost o it on over $300 as it’s the weekend and who knows how long it will take to fix his car. This company is an absolute joke!

The tech guy was very professional... excellent job installing my remote car starter. And very knowledgeable in explaining how everything worked.....,,,,!!!

Haven’t used it yet because to get it installed you need to wait forever!!!

Store never answers calls. Two days I was on hold one day 3 times and no one picked up. Just left on hold in never never land. Second time tech was late for installation appointment and store did not respond. When I discussed concerns with management they basically blew me off Need customer service training at this location

If i could give zero stars i would! Purchased starter in November and immediately made install appointment for 12/26 at 10 am. Upon arrival to best buy in east hanover they told me i did not have appt. Best buy emailed me weekly to confirm. They did not honor my appt time and i returned Christmas present. Not employees fault. Companies fault.

Very unhappy works 1 out of 4 trys . Have had car back twice and still wont work right. Works better if weather warm if cold reason got it 1 out of 4 trys still have go out in cold start it.

Do not buy if you have a VW. I was never told until the time of my appointment to install that this require a VW key fob, which is 300+ dollars to purchase and program. In hindsight, we should’ve just went through our dealer to get a remote. Do not recommend if you have VW. The quality is fine, but there is no value in this purchase and lugging around an extra key isn’t the most convenient. Especially when prices come out to be even to replace the fob.

Low review due more to the install at Best Buy. Had to travel to a store that did install -- it was installed but not completely & was told they would follow up as to how to complete the process correctly but they did not so we had to hound them to get another install date to complete the process & we are not sure they will be able to do it w/ our car after it was cleared for our vehicle before we purchased. Extremely disappointed w/ the Fairfield Township Best Buy after such great service at our local Best Buy.

The product may be great, but i have to wait weeks to get the item installed in my car.

I can't tell you because the process to get it installed has been so frustrating I wish I could just return it. I spent hours searching for a way to schedule the install. After talking to 8+ different people at Best Buy, I finally found someone who explained that the problem is there are no installers in my area. I have to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest Best Buy installer. I wish I knew that when I bought it.

Not great for ram promaster vans. When door is opened the car shuts off. Get a viper brand instead if you have a promaster.

The remote start caused my dashboard lights to go off. Had to tow my car to subaru coz it wont start. Paid almost a $1000 to have it removed because it took them 5 hours to do that plus the diagnostic fee. Question, will they reimburse me for this as they said this will work with my car just fine?
