I have been trying to schedule my FREE installation and I have not been able to. Every appointment I schedule gets canceled! Then, I try to call the store and I can’t get through at all! I’ve tried calling multiple stores and I stay on hold and haven’t been able to speak to anyone. I will not be buying any “free installation” products from Best Buy ever again!

I paid for this part but didn’t receive it when I went to pick it up. So on 1/8 my scheduled appt for my car install did not happen because the part wasn’t ordered. I reschedule for 1/15 @ 11am & install not complete until 5pm! Poor resolution!

Purchased the compustar, installed it from Best Buy and now after 1 year and 2 months it’s not working. Can’t do anything now as it’s warranty is just for 1 year.

They didn't have it but advertised it. Very bad service at this store. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to the store in Greenville NC

Since the day I added this self starter kit to my car, my car heater fans stopped working and when I ask the technician who fixed the starter in my car, he mentioned it’s not his issue and asking me to see mechanic. I’m really not happy with this offer. I’m thinking not to step into Best Buy ever for promoting this kind of junk products.

When I first got it installed it worked great, now its having some issues with starting when I'm further than 100 yards away. It used to be able to start much further away while inside of buildings. Not sure if its the product or the battery is already going bad even though its only been 2 months since the install.

Useless, if you aren't standing next to it it doesn't work

Salesman never told us we had to give up our spare key fab in order to install the starter. To get a replacement fab would have cost $280. We canceled and returned everything for a refund.

Range is way too short, won't even srart car from other side of wall, wouldn't buy again

This item does not have all of the components needed to install a remote start. I ended up going to a shop where they installed a brand that they are familiar with.

Love to be able to start my car in the winter to defrost windows and get warm inside before leaving for work.

Best Buy installer couldn't get it to function properly in my vehicle. Bad device, or bad installer? Had it removed and refunded.

I highly recommend this system and store for installation.

After one year my remote was disconnected, no support o er thephine was disconnected twice, after waiting for an hour. No return calls. Very poor customer service, will go to store to see if l can some results.

This is not a review of the product but more of best buy. The website said it was compatible with my car. We setup an appointment and they tried to install it just to tell me it wasnt compatible. It was for a 2017 toyota. Waste of time.

Best Buy installed just new on my sienna but not working properly as they mentioned. Its a two way but I don’t get signal on my remote with blinking lights when car starts. I use remote with silver buttons. Sometime when I press to start the car but it doesn’t do anything at all. Its functioning so weird.

I took the car back to the car dealership three times to fix the damages BestBuy made to my car. even the product not working properly. the car keeps beeping after locking the door. I'm really disappointed with this purchase and service.

Purchased this with the installation included. The order details said I would receive and email with instructions on how to schedule the installation but never received it. Called support and they don't know anything about it. I got fed up and it has been sitting in the back seat of the truck. Never installed it. Waste of money at this point

Nice size 2 way remote and looks like it is well made.

Not good. I bought it from Best Buy and the installation was free. First day my car display showed up malfunctioning. I purchased my car last month, 2022 model.
