Damaged my new car during the installation. Still not resolved.

Good luck getting in touch with anyone at the store if you have problems with your install. I got home and realized after they installed this that the power sliding doors on our van no longer function. I've been trying to talk to someone at the store for 2 days and just keep getting passed around to overseas call centers. I'm an hour away from the store so it isnt like I can just pop in.

This comes with 1 two way remote start and 1 one way remote start. Both work well and have excellent range. After over a month it has worked every time from every distance we have tried. Installation was quick and easy for no extra price through the store. It's also very nice to have extended range to lock the doors on the car just in case I forget. Our van has sliding doors on our other key fob and we can't use the sliding door fob after using the two way remote until after we use the key to start the car, but both fobs still work.

I ordered in Nov. was told by the service tech to show up on Nov. 26th. Arrived at the store to be told they don't have a tech to install. Was then told they would call when the tech was up to speed and that is coming up on three weeks ago. No Updates. No Communication. NOTHING.

I purchased this remote start after plenty of weeks of researching and I am disappointed. A lot of issues have happened with the remote, first off, changing the batteries, which is 2 for a little remote, is trash. You have to be delicate or else, the battery compartment will snap, which will cause the remote to not close. The app will inform you that the car battery is low but yet it is not and the battery indicator will fluctuate. I've used the app to disarm the alarm but if I open the door, the alarm will sound or the app will give me an indication of impact. There are more problems with this remote start than I wanted but it will cost $$ to have it uninstalled.

I had this installed in my car yesterday by an technician who really knew what he was doing. I've been playing around with it and it and it works well. I would really like a remote that displays more information, but the 2-way does have auditory and visual cues that confirm your car has successfully started. I got this deal because most other places such as independent auto tech installers and dealerships will charge nearly double for the same product and labor. I really do hope to upgrade my remote to the LCD option soon, but as of now I am super happy with this product. It also does have great range. Last night I was in a huge warehouse-type store and as I was approaching the checkout lanes I remote started my car just as a test and it worked. That's good enough for me.

We have had this for 3 years and love it. We actually purchased a second one for our daughter's family vehicle and they love theirs as well. The fact that it responds back to you with a little chirp to let you know it started the vehicle, was a great selling point for us. This remote start is so much more reliable than the factory one that came with the vehicle. We can be in the store and start the car where our factory remote start would not let us do it at that distance. Now Looking to buy another one for our 2nd vehicle now.

My wife and I love these remote start systems! We live in Northern, WI where summers and humid and winters are vey cold. Consequently, our Compustar 4905S kits are used nearly daily and have operated flawlessly since January, 2020. We initially installed this unit on our Honda CR-V and loved the range + 2-way communication (confirms the car actually started) that we bought and installed a second unit in our Dodge Grand Caravan.

So glad I bought this! This starter was on special in early November and I got installed about three weeks later. I always hated getting into a cold car and this is such a time saver. Installation took about three hours and I waited patiently in the most comfortable seat inside the store. Some reviews said the car turned off upon opening the door. Mine would turn off when I tried to drive off but when I remember to press the brake before driving...no problem. Could be my car but it works. I recommend this product and Best Buy in Iselin, NJ.

I bought this as a package deal along with Geek install and a tilt switch. However, it also requires a T-Harness or hard wire kit, which did not come with the deal. This isn't my first remote start so I knew that it would require some extra parts, but be forewarned if you think this is all you need. Luckily the Best Buy store had the parts there, which will cost an extra $20-50 depending upon the vehicle. The remote starter itself works great, but the range isn't as advertised. I have tested this at about 1,000 feet in open space, parking down the block and walking to test it, but it doesn't pick up the signal thereafter. I also park 500 feet away when I am at work, but it won't work going through my office walls either. You have the ability to upgrade to a drone kit or LCD pager which will give you better/up to unlimited range for another $150 and a yearly $60 fee to help with those range issues. Nonetheless, for the price I paid (little under $300 for everything) I am happy with it.

They misguided. When I bought this item installation was included. Now they are asking for $130 for installation.

I got this for my 2017 Toyota Rav4 back in 2018 and the unit and both fobs are still working w/o any problems and has good range where I can start it from my work place from the 2nd floor. I don't even recall having to change the battery on either them remotes yet. Only thing is the price on this is a lot more than when I got it.

I am surprised with the performance. Great buy for the price. The promotion for 259.99 was great, I have all my family member lined up for it will buy more when they lower the price.

Best investment I ever made. Especially for this summer heat, start my vehicle ahead of time and it’s cool when I enter… but also safe from being stolen as it is running

I have been using this for last 2 years. Great product, ranges good. I could start the car from my apartment and work please. The security system is good as well, once the car starts it locks all doors automatically and if brake is pressed it shouts off. Best purchase for this cold winter.

Installation was perfect, can start remote from a great distance. I ended up buying for 2 vehicles, now shopping for third.

This bad boy is Awesome. I work in a concrete building, I’m talking a bunker with even concrete roof and this remote starter penetrates those walls! This is the 3rd purchase of this exact same remote starter as we used them on previous cars. Seriously buy this and you won’t be disappointed! Always look for the sale price though as you can get this for around 260$ when they are running them. Just so you know you are purchasing 2 remotes but only 1 of them is a 2 way which means it will beep and light up when the car actually started. The other remote you just have to assume it worked. My suggestion is leave the 1 way remote on a hook in the house and use it to start the car in the morning and keep the 2 way in the car.

The product works well. No malfunctions as of current. Product purchased during the winter months. Brought about extreme happiness and appreciation for entering a warm car. Also very convenient for starting the vehicle while preparing for work. All around great item to purchase. This level is next level. Dont spend anymore than this item cost for this technology. I look forward to its use during the summer. Enjoy!

I purchased the previous version of this remote starter and it worked amazing for my wife's Nissan Rouge. We purchased a new Audi (not standard on German cars), and yes, we are going with this upgraded version that's now equipped with a smartphone app. We love the 2-Way option, and it is well worth it to pre warm or pre cool your vehicle. It's even a greater buy when you can catch it on sale greater than 50% off.
