Purchased 3 years ago for my car and just purchased another one for my mother’s car

Ended up returning the item. Installation is not included in purchase price. Also, when I bought the item I researched it and chose this item because the website said I would not need any additional parts (wiring harnesses) but when I went to set up an installation date I was told I needed $60 in additional parts plus $180 installation fee. Turned around and returned the item immediately after purchase

Overall not bad, sometimes it won't start. The remote stop ringing after a year of use

Sorry to say this one of the worst customer service experienced at Best Buy. First, technician telling me that he is not certified and can't do it on Jan 14th & Come on Saturday Jan 18th(then that date should not be kept online, keep only Saturdays then ).Second, ur agent cancelled my order in an attempt to change pick-up location. Other agent kept me on hold for a long time and cut the call at the last moment. Chat with three agents was also not helpful. Every time, I had to explain my case from the beginning. Wasted my Time and energy . Finally they made me cancel entire order.

I got this remote start and the add on gps to trace and control the vehicle from the app. The system works great with the keyless and with the app, there are 2 cons: 1) There is a fee to use the app. 2) with vehicles with push to start button, the car auto shut off when opening the door which defeats the purpose of this system to keep the car warm in winter, so you have to start the car when you are ready to drive it.

This was my Christmas gift. I have never been so happy they install this for me and I picked my car up two hours later and loved it every sense. I would definitely purchase it again if I ever get a differentCar

Lot's of issues with the automatic start functionality

Does it has the proximity sensor so it sense the key like the original keys and unlock with out touching the key ?? Or I still have to carry my orginal key to use those features and this is just for remote start and stoo only ??

Compustar is not a good buy! Products work fine but then the remotes malfunction and you cannot get any tech support from the company if you try to reach them. I had to blindly order remotes only to find that they weren't compatible and still don't have a new remote that works and it's been a couple of years now...
