There were a few things left out of the product description that would have affected my choice but but overall it’s a good product. I used mine on my 2015 Prius four and the engine shuts off when I unlock the doors… not a big deal. Also, you have to have the original key fob to start the car and I hate having a lot of stuff in my pocket. Also the new key fob won’t trigger the proximity unlock feature of the drivers door

This is the 3rd Compustar 2-way remote we've purchased. The first two went on prior vehicles, so when we purchased a new vehicle, we had to get the 2-way remote installed again. The performance has been 100% accurate and has never failed us. We've been Compustar owners for over 4 years and couldn't be happier thanks to Best Buy installation. Common Winter, we're ready!

The two way remotes really make it easy to know if your vehicle is actually started or not just by the light pattern and chirps one of the remotes has. This helps especially since the range is 3000 feet now.

Works as advertised! Not sure about half mile in urban setting, but remote has enough range - no complains there! I can start my car from the bus far enough, that by the time I get to my car, its warm and cozy in Minnesota. Not a fan of the blinking light on the antenna that gets attached to the windshield though. I bought it during a sale, and I think its an excellent value for the price I paid. Full price is a bit high IMO.

Happy to get a remote start, helps extend the life of a vehicle, cold starts are bad especially when u start a vehicle and just take off, now I can start ahead of time and take off with a complete warm vehicle in the winter engine and all, or cold vehicle in the summer.

Purchased this for my 2018 Kia Stinger GT2. It’s awesome! The tech was able to program my factory fob to activate remote start (3Xs LOCK), but of course this is limited to the range of the fob. The Compustar remote can start the car from 3,000 ft. The remote also opens the trunk. The best thing is that unlike the Kia factory remote start, this one doesn’t turn off the car when you open the door. 100% satisfied.
