Product works well and as advertised. Some original (Subaru Outback) remote functions were modified, but nothing of consequence. If concerned, ask installer for details.

All functions work as designed. So, I’ll only discuss the ones that don’t work. The installation kit sits this unit so far back in the dash that I can’t use the volume control very easily. It looks odd sitting so deeply back inside the dash of my Ford Ranger XLT. The alarm no longer works. I bought this to comply with hands free phone laws. However, I have to yell at the top of my lungs to be heard. So, pleasure conversations wait until I’m home. The only calls I can make, without loosing my voice, are only the most urgent ones.

Great price for what you get. Very happy with this purchase. The 2 way remote beeps at you when you lock or unlock the doors and plays a chime when the engine starts to let you know that action has been completed. The lights on the remote will flash every 30 seconds or so to remind you the engine is running. the range of the remote is great.

I bought this for my mother's car and she absolutely loved it she's had no complaints she wouldn't recommend anything else even though I go with viper she loves the compustar and I think when I upgrade I may go to compystar because she loves it so much and it comes with two keys

Bought it on sale, much needed for the winter, installed within 1 hour and works great!

So far this product is great with my 2019 Mazda CX-5. Works like it should. Tim at Best Buy installed it and showed me how to work it. I can use the Key FOB it came with or the Mazda FOB. I ordered it on August 6th and had it installed August 23rd. I had to have it ordered and it came in early.

both fobs can remote start, but only the silver buttoned fob will let you know if the vehicle has received the command. I had this installed on my wife's Kia and have not used it first hand more than twice. I have remote start on my chevy, but it is not a 2-way fob. the 2-way is why I paid the extra bucks. I assume we could buy a 2nd 2-way fob if we wanted. (picked up up at a discount and while install was being included in discount price)

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our daughter and son-in-law. We have one and it's great to have. It's nice in the winter so you can start your car and not have to scrape the windows as much and the car will be warm when you get in. It's also nice in the summer to be able to get into a nice cool car on those hot summer days!
