I’m still adjusting to this new cooktop. I love the look. I love the various sized burners. I haven’t noticed that water boils much faster. Maybe I misunderstood that. It took me a minute, but I love the lock feature so it doesn’t turn on accidentally. (This is mostly useful when cleaning) The cleaning is the trick. It takes a bit of effort to keep it looking great. In fact, I’m not sure it will ever look as stunning as the day after installation. Having said all that, I’m very pleased with the appliance.

The installation of our cooktop went great. The installers had to cut down our granite countertop for proper fit. The only reason I give four stars is because they did not clean up the dirt and dust from the sanding of the granite. Also, probably not their fault but they asked to use our vacuum because they didn't have one. No big deal except they were sucking up all of the debris from the granite sanding. They should be provided the appropriate tools to do their job. Otherwise great crew that completed the installation.

The Thermador Stove top is beautiful but, I feel isn't as stain resisitant has my old hard top. Or not as easy to clean. I feel I have to be super careful not to spill, always wiping underneath the pan etc. Installation was also a pain. 2 installation teams had to come out to figure why the stove top had mounted brackets on the sides of the stove that prevented it from sliding in smoothly. I had to wait a month, once it was in.

This is a really good, and beautiful induction cooktop. The faux flames are a nice touch. It's easy to use and really easy to clean. But I did have to buy all new pots and pans that work with induction as none of mine (save one pot) would work. And I would have prefered that the controls were to the side and not right in the middle at the front, but I'm getting used to it. I've found that I don't (and shouldn't) cook at really high temperatures - it's not really needed either.

The young men that came to install my electric glass cooktop were so polite, friendly and efficient. It was truly a pleasure having them in stall my stovetop. They even took the time to clean off the gunk after removing my old stovetop. It was funny, because I asked them is that the glue that held down the previous cooktop and they said no, its just dirt and grease that gets stuck underneath!!!!! I was like wow, im so glad I asked because another company told me it was mounted down with glue and it would cost me extra for them to remove my old one and put in the new one. I am so glad I went with this company. I will ONLY purchase my products from here from now on because they are the truth! You truly gst what you paid for. They were so nice and neat. They didn't leave any trash or anything behind. They handed me my manual and warranty. They had on their masks and gloves and scraped their feet before they entered into my home. Whoever trained those two young men, did a fabulous job. And you could tell they were raised properly from home

Delivery and installation of our cooktop was done through a 3rd party. The install went relatively smoothly, until I checked under the counter and noticed that the cover of the junction box (where the wires were connected) was not closed tightly and a wire was pinched in between the box and the lid. I had to open the box, rearrange all the wires inside, then close it up.

I love the versatility of the burners on this cooktop. There is a burner size for any size pot including my large canning pot. There are 2 issues which is why I only gave it 4 stars. 1) The touch controls are very sensitive. Be sure to lock the touchpad so it doesn't accidentally get turned on. 2) Cleaning this thing is very tedious. It is near impossible to not have streaks in the glass no matter what cleaners you use. It seems many people have this same complaint. Other than that, it's a great cooktop.

We were told after Best Buy did the measurements that only one manufacture makes an cooktop that would fit onto our stove. Well the installers were very nice but it did not fit when they tried to put it in.. So they used some putty to try to make it fit. its okay, but the putty can be seen under the cook top in some places and we think little pieces of the putty are falling off. But the cooktop itself workds very well.

The installers were great very polite, friendly and professional. As for as the cooktop goes it looks really nice the only thing I don't like are the on off knobs. My previous G.E. cooktop had a lock where you have to push it down to turn it on. This is a much safer knob. Other then that it cooks great, heats fast and looks gorgeous.

Cook tops great looking and working but casing that knobs are on is not straight across, mines off some and on a slight angle. Didn't notice it till I went to clean it. No big deal for use, just it it's a concern of yours make sure to notice out of the box just in case. I'm sure it's not a universal thing

They made it fit. Definitely have Best Buy do the free pre-measurement and try to hire the same people who pre-measured. I jumped the gun and ordered early a replacement stovetop before getting pre-measured. The two techs let me know that they may need to cut some wood and granite to fit the new stovetop and sure enough they needed to do so. There was a cost for that, but I’m glad everything was able to be done in a little amount of time. It definitely helps to have the same team come in and do the work; they give you a call a couple days before install to go over all that. Happy with the work done. Very professional.

The installers were nice and very quick with the installation they called in advance and offered to come earlier due to a cancellation in my area which was great but they used my grill spatula from my dish washing tray to pry the existing grill out to install the new one please ask them to use their own tools in the future thank you.

Fast, Friendly, and clean installation by Best Buy! (LOWES PALES IN COMPARISON) The two guys who did my install were amazing! They were very knowledgeable about the product and provided me with details regarding quality and expected longevity of the product. They measured the opening to ensure a perfect fit, connected all of the gas lines with line sealant, tested and demonstrated the use of the unit and provided advice on how to maintain the unit for an extended life span. They maintained a clean work environment and removed the old unit and all un-needed packing materials. Highly recommended over Lowes service and installation.

They did a nice job after they figured out the granite still needed to be cut. We ordered the Samsung cooktop first but it would not fit. The installers wrote down the measurements needed for the next cooktop. They were still off and charged make the cut. I thought that was wrong since they gave me the measurements.

The opening for my old cook top was too small by a fraction and a special appointment for the install needed to be made. The Installers made special arrangements to fit us into the day and came with plastic sheets to seal off the work area from the dust. They did a most excellent job making the cut and fitting the stove top in the opening. They vacuumed as they cut and vacuumed after they were done, they wiped down the wall where they worked. There was no trace of dust anywhere. They gave me a demonstration of how to use the cook top and let me experiment myself. They were polite and efficient. I would have these guys install anything in my house.

Great Viking Series 5 cooktop. Did not give it a 5-star because I have to light the burners now and then for some reason. Which I believe I should not be due to the price of this cooktop. And you have to be very careful when cleaning it. Overall, it's a powerful cooktop.

This review is for the removal of a gas cooktop and installation of an induction cooktop in its place. The Geek Squad installation went pretty well, but I had to provide the twist-on wire connectors since they were in the other truck (not the one they came in). Overall, they did a good job.

The cooktop is terrific. We love it and no complaints on that. However the installation process was terrible. Starting with Best Buy communications with its installer - who did not know that we had an existing downdraft that had to be removed, and conversion needed from natural gas to propane (I had that conversation with BB at time of purchase). After the first visit of installer, there was no call from BB about next steps. I called and they setup another appointment which also resulted in nothing. Anyhow, I just decided to get it installed on my own and had to get someone else who did the job in 3 hrs - including adjusting for a small gap in countertop hole where cooktop sits. BestBuy - I am a regular customer and love to shop at BB, but please tighten up your installation procedures.

Cooktop’s depth was bigger than the old cooktop and as such the drawer underneath did not fit. We had to get the drawer sides cut to fit the drawer in its space. Best Buy should have known the size of new cooktop could be a problem for installation.

Overall I was satisfied with the installation. The only complaint I have is that one of the installers was going to install a fitting backwards that could have resulted in a gas leak. Otherwise, they did a good job and generally cleaned up afterwards. I would use this service again.
