This Cooler Master CPU cooler works exceptionally well. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid. My temps dropped significantly, even while gaming and running demanding applications. It’s quiet, efficient, and looks great inside the case. For the price, the cooling performance is outstanding. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for keeping your CPU running cool and stable.

Beautiful in my build. Quiet. And most importantly, works very well at cooling my cpu even when over-clocking. No need for water-cooling, especially if you don't have the space

I recently upgraded my CPU cooler, and the results have been impressive. The installation was hassle-free, thanks to the clear instructions provided. The cooling performance is outstanding, keeping my CPU temperatures consistently low even under heavy workloads. The design is both sleek and functional, contributing to improved airflow within my system. I appreciate the quieter operation compared to my previous cooler, making for a more pleasant computing experience. Overall, this CPU cooler is a reliable solution for users seeking efficient cooling and a quieter system.

It does suck that it’s only a single fan setup, but it does come with an extra set of brackets to attach a second fan it you would like. The Rgb halo fan is probably one of my most favorite fans out there and I personally prefer it over the Corsair Halo fans. All in all, this is great cooler. Not to pricy and preforms really well. Even in a small form factor case I don’t have any issues with thermals on my cpu with this cooler. (Won’t fit in all small form factor cases. It is still a ver tall heat sink)

AIO cooler eventually gave out pump failed. Bought this as a stop gap before choosing a new AIO. After seeing the temperatures and sound I decided the AIO is not necessary will continue with this tower cooler on the build

I really liked this fan. The fan’s colors can change. This was not what made me purchase the fan but it is a fun little feature added to a really powerful but quiet fan. My CPU stays cool even under heavy performance. It was simple to install and looks great.
Dual-Edged Sword: The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo

As an enthusiast in the realm of PC building and optimization, the pursuit of both aesthetic elegance and peak performance is a journey fraught with both triumphs and challenges. My recent experience with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo 120mm CPU cooling fan, specifically the Black Edition with Gen 2 RGB Lighting, serves as a testament to this ongoing quest.
Upon the recommendation of numerous peers and after perusing countless reviews, I decided to integrate the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo into my latest build, centered around the formidable Intel i9 processor. The initial impressions were nothing short of impressive. The RGB functionality of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo Black Edition is, without exaggeration, a spectacle of light. The Gen 2 RGB Lighting provides a vibrant, customizable array of colors that can synchronize effortlessly with other components within the case, creating a mesmerizing visual harmony that can be tailored to one's personal taste.
Price-wise, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo stands out as an incredibly appealing option. Its affordability in comparison to other cooling solutions on the market makes it an enticing choice for builders looking to allocate their budget across multiple high-performance components without compromising on the visual aesthetics of their setup.
The installation process of the Hyper 212 Halo was notably straightforward and user-friendly. The cooler's design and accompanying instructions facilitated a smooth, hassle-free installation, resulting in a clean and uncluttered appearance within the case. Such ease of installation is a commendable feature, especially for those who may be navigating the intricacies of PC assembly for the first time.
However, the journey took a turn when evaluating the cooler's performance with high-end hardware. Tasked with cooling a top-tier Intel i9 processor, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo revealed a significant limitation. At idle, the CPU temperature hovered around 71°C, a figure that, while manageable, raised initial concerns. Under load, these concerns were realized as temperatures surged, leading to thermal throttling and, ultimately, the failure of the processor—a regrettable outcome that resulted in the replacement of a $600 CPU.
It is crucial to acknowledge that while the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo Black Edition excels in aesthetics, ease of installation, and affordability, its performance in cooling high-end, top-tier processors like the Intel i9 may not meet the rigorous demands required to maintain optimal temperatures under significant workloads. This experience suggests that the Hyper 212 Halo is better suited for cooling processors with lower thermal design power (TDP) ratings, where its efficiency and value can be fully realized without compromise.
In conclusion, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo 120mm CPU cooling fan with Gen 2 RGB Lighting (Black Edition) stands as a product of notable merit, particularly for its visual appeal, installation process, and cost-effectiveness. However, for enthusiasts and builders targeting peak performance with high-end processors, it serves as a reminder to closely match cooling solutions to the thermal demands of their components. While the Hyper 212 Halo may shine brilliantly within certain builds, its application in systems designed around top-tier processors requires careful consideration and, perhaps, an alternative approach to ensure thermal efficiency and hardware longevity.

Very quiet fan. The addressable RGB color is a nice touch if your MOBO supports it. Running on a I5 12600KF and under loads the temps never hit 60C. Kind of tall but should fit most standard mid to large cases.
Installed several of these last year & Still work!

The best by far budget fam with the best flexible options to mount!
Not it only comes with one fan but does come with splitter cable and extra fan metal mounts that are easy to adapt to the cpu heatsink!
But do not lose the two unique black phillips screws needed to mount the cpu heat sink to either AMD or Intel brackets! (SUPER TINY IN SEPERATE PLASTIC SEALED BAG TUCKED IN THE BOX EASY TO LOSE!)
Best part it even comes with thermal paste and yes it does the job well enough even on a gaming pc!
