Upgraded my MBP from the stock ram to this and it doubled. Not too much, but at least enough so that it can run the Adobe Suite in a much faster fashion. If my MBP could handle more ram, I'd get more but unfortunately this is the max. It was a breeze to install and I haven't had any problems. Bought it for my senior year of college and was able to get a ton of work done. I now work as a full-time Graphic Designer and it's still holding up! Great purchase I benefit from every day!

My Macbook was still running on the original 4GB RAM, and it was time for an upgrade. This one was recommended by the employee, and it worked great. Easy to install, immediate difference made, and a little cheaper than some of the other options. No complaints.

This memory made a great addition to my laptop. Corsair is a great brand with reliable memory. When installed, I ran it through a MemTest (a best-practice with any new RAM) with no errors. My system has been running great with this replacement RAM with no major errors to speak of. From my experience, look for good memory brands when looking for new RAM. Savings of a few cents isn't worth a crashed computer due to a poor-performing memory brand.

The memory really helped my MacBook Pro (2009) increase speed. I didn't think I'd be able to do this install by myself but the Best Buy rep who helped me assured me I could. Just need the right small screwdriver. So easy. Now I'm happy with my Mac again!

performs very well for both a T410 Lenovo Laptop and a Sony VAIO laptop; purchased 1st for Sony laptop and PNY memory for the Lenovo; had to return the PNY as it kept crashing machine; replaced with Corsair- PERFECT ever since; both of them using CORSAIR working great; just make sure machines memory max limits etc....

Upgraded my iMac stock memory for speed and efficiency. Very easy to install. Followed a few clicks on best buy wed site and was off to pick up. Well worth trip and upgrade.

I added this memory to my MacBook Pro to improve performance. Installation was a breeze as long as you follow the instructions and the performance improvement was definitely noticeable. If you work with large multimedia files, this memory upgrade is a definite recommendation. Note that for most laptop computers, you will be removing your original memory altogether and replacing it with these large modules.

Great upgrade for an older mac with less memory. You can install it easily and it is a cheap performance upgrade to make the computer work faster.

I decided to upgrade my computer after a lot of research, the memory is the best idea and the very great solution, it make my laptop run fast and more memory for CAD design application. I would recommend the memory to every people who want to make a difference change for improving computer performance. Most realizable memory ever!

My laptop has 4 memory slots, two on the bottom of the motherboard and two on top under the keyboard. It came with 8GB total, 2 in each slot. I had already upgraded it once to have a pair of Corsair 4GB SoDimms on the bottom to bring it up to 12GB but really wanted to max it out. So when Best Buy had these on sale I researched the procedure for replacing the memory modules on the top of the motherboard and decided it was doable. I was very pleased to find that these were the exact same ones I had purchase for the first upgrade so compatibility was a lock. There was a fair amount of doubt as to whether the laptop would recognize more than 12GB of memory but in the end, the bios and the laptop both showed a total of 16GB of ram. This was an excellent purchase.

Saw this at the best buy in my town and wanted to do an upgrade in my late 2011 MacBook Pro so grabbed it after a price match and used a gift card I got for my birthday. Went from 4GB to 8GB and while its a small improvement I do see it. Great product too.

Needed to upgrade memory in laptop. Good price, and universal (per their description). Worked great in my Toshiba. I have purchased memory for other laptops from this supplier before, never had any problems.

This was my first time upgrading my Ram in this device and I wasn't sure which brand to pick. A lady in the site recommended this product and I.must say my speed increased drastically. I will be upgrading my HDD to a SSD next.

How do you rate ram, either it works or does not. This ram was used to upgrade a macmini from 4 to 8gb. It was a big improvement and was competitively priced. It has run flawless!
