This is basically a mounting bracket for installing 2.5" SATA drives into a standard computer drive bay. It seems well designed to do that job efficiently. I used it to install two SSDs into my new computer. All the holes matched up perfectly. It is handy that there are little tabs supplied to support the drives, which makes attaching the screws much easier. Works for one or two drives. Seems well finished with no sharp edges to worry about. Glad that the screws were included, as my drives came without screws.

This is a solid, well-designed product. There's not much that can be said about an internal drive enclosure, but I just upgraded all the PCs in our office, and I used one of these in each. Simple to use, and all mounting screws were included. Remember to purchase cables, if you think you'll need them.

Finally found one of these in stock at a Best Buy store, which wasn't an easy task. To be clear, this adaptor is NOT meant for those newer, skinny SSD drives drives that pug into an M2 socket. It is for the older style SSD drives that use a SATA cable and separate SATA power connector. You may install up to two drives in this bracket. The bracket can then be installed in a 3 1/2 inch floppy drive bay (remember those?), or an old school 3 1/2" hard drive bay. Many newer pc cases have a place where you may mount an SSD drive without needing one of these brackets, but if you are upgrading an older computer and trying to install an SSD drive, you will probably need one of these. It came with mounting hardware. Very simple to install. Not much else to say about this. It's a mounting bracket.

Other 2.5 to 3.5 inch drive adapters do not work correctly and I have used the plastic adapters and metal adapters from overseas. They have the wrong threads for 3.5 inch hdd screws or incorrectly spaced holes. The Corsair adapter fit perfectly. Came with screws and was easy to install. 2.5 inch SSD or notebook drive can slide in/out so connectors line up with the replaced 3.5 inch drive. So nice to get the Corsair because it is made correctly and just works.

Needed this in order to install an SSD into a 10+ year old PC after cloning from an older drive. Fits right into where the 3.5 HDD originally was installed and fairly painless to install. Definitely recommend.

The WD - Blue SA510 2TB Internal SSD SATA was successfully installed in my iMac 2015 to replace the old hard drive disk. With the mounting bracket that was bought from BestBuy too, it perfectly fit for my computer.

It came with its own screws for easy installation and it can hold 2 2.5in ssd drives all for the price of $8 very good

I purchased 2 of these to add SSDs to my tower in 2 open HDD bays. The different mounting options allowed me to place the drives in the best positions so the cables and connectors weren't being forced into awkward angles to make them fit. There's a lot of different screws included to make the installation easy. Nice quality at a decent price.

These are about the best 3.5 to 2.5 adapters. The screws are top notch, the cage it self is powered coated not paint. Also these will take (2) 2.5" ssd's instead of 1 ssd

Great price for something that is very easy to install. I purchased this for use with the WD Blue 500GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive, it fit right in and was easily mounted into my desktop. One annoying thing I encountered was that some screws had awkward angles that made it difficult to get a screwdriver, but thats probably the worst part.

Bought 5 of these when upgrading work computers from HDD to SSD. I like that it comes with multiple screws, eliminates having to search for replacements when I inevitably drop one (or more). Well built, easy to install, although it is a bit tricky getting the screws in the side that has the gap between the bracket and the outside frame.

I used this device to install an extra SSD drive in my computer. It was very easy to mount the drive and easy to mount it in my computer and the price was great too. This is a very handy little device to mount the small format (2.5") drives that are so popular now. I would recommend this Drive enclosure to anyone who needs an easy way to mount the 2.5" drives. Oh and it holds 2 drives.

I've been doing a lot of drive replacements to extend the life of a lot of our company PCs and found that this is an excellent bracket to use even if your desktop has an empty 2.5" bay. It's an automatic purchase when replacing 3.5" HDD's with SSD's. You're able to mount two SSD's on the bracket if needed. All mounting screws are included.

This allowed me to install 2 SSDs, but I wish it came along with appropriate power cables that do not get too crowded into each other once mounted as I have experienced when using my stock power sockets from my PC's power supply unit. Can't complain, it fits, it is light but strong and the screws are great to have.

I like this mounting because it uses the same screws as a 3.5 drive. I was able to install an SSD into an All-In-One hp that used to have a normal hard drive. It fit nicely into the drive cage that was in the all-in-one originally.

This adapter works great and definitely serves its purpose. I've bought several for replacing old 3.5" hard drives with SSD's. My only complaint is the packaging of the screws. They put the screws in these miniature zip-lock bags, then roll them up super tight and tape them. I find it very difficult to open the screws without cutting yourself, losing the screws, or completely destroying the bag they're in. Other than that, this product is very well built and works great!
