I returned a k70 low profile keyboard because I hated the keys it felt like a laptop and I found I making more mistypes than usual. This version is fantastic and way smoother. I definitely prefer the red mx keys over the speed keys. They are too fast and cause errors the reds are perfect for me. The rgb on this keyboard is pretty good. I've seen better but this is acceptable and has a nice look. I would definitely buy this keyboard again.

It’s my first time building a PC and decided to opt for this keyboard. It’s super smooth and clicks when playing games. Mic and headset don’t pick up the clicks and the light up is great. Not too bright or dark. Has profiles preinstalled or you can make your own with the iCue software.

I LOVE Corsair keyboards, but I do not like Cherry MX red switches. I like tactile feedback and clickiness, which means I will either use Cherry MX brown or blue switches. Other than that, this is an excellent keyboard. It is very well made, all of the keys are uniform, and the metal frame is well constructed.

I only had the keyboard for a couple of weeks so i can only give my opinion of it's initial performance. The lighting is nice and easy to switch. It came with extra buttons to replace WASD if you wanted. It does make more noise ( I used to use a membrane keyboard). It is a little sensitive though (I've pressed wrong keys when my fingers brushed others by accident) but I can get used to it.

My son loves this keyboard. It was recommended by our sales consultant, and my son felt it had the best feel of all the keyboards he tried. It's also fun to program the lighting features. It totally lives up to "plug & play."

I really do like the way the keys feel and the way that you can customize the RGB as well as the asdw keys with better shape for gaming. Really enjoy the way that the RGB can be customized. Overall, excellent product.

Really great quality and love the tactile feel of this keyboard and appreciate the extra keys that I can change out for the WASD when gaming. Only issue I have, not sure if there's a setting somewhere, is that sometimes when I use the keyboard to raise or lower the volume it will sometimes just keep going on either direction. For example, if I just want to raise the volume a bit it'll shoot straight up and and won't respond when I try to lower it using the keyboard until I restart the PC and vice versa. Other than that small issue it works as intended.

Amazing quality, sturdy aluminum frame, and solid mechanical keys that remind me of those old IBM keyboards. I refined my keyboard skills, such as they are, on those IBMs, so I'm right at home on the K70. IIRC, the old IBMs used Cherry Switches too. The K70 feels much slicker, though. It is Not "clunky" at all. I Do Not like that I have to load a bunch of bloatware just to set the lighting to a solid, stationary backlight. At the moment, I have uninstalled it and I'm just tolerating the lightwave... I'll probably end up reinstalling and setting it up like before: 2 options, medium red backlight for nighttime, and bright electric blue for daytime. Stationary, of course. Quick and easy to change between those options using the buttons on the top left. Yeah. I'm setting that back, right after I finish this review. The volume control is another big plus. It's solid, has a novel & excellent design, and works well. Handy control, and it appeals to us "analog" guys. Expensive, yes. You get what you pay for. And this keyboard is worth every penny. Bonus: I got it "on sale" !

Spent way too much time looking at different mechanical keyboards. Had a Rosewill Cherry MX Brown and was looking for a step up, with ten keys. Didn't really care for the RGB, but did prefer white over red in non-rgb models. Build quality is solid, like the volume bar and keyboard rest.

Stepson needed a new keyboard since his old one broke. Corsair is one of the best brand and not too expensive. Cherry Red are a little on the loud side but amazing nonethless. RGB is just the cherry on top!

My 12 year old son bought this keyboard with his birthday money. He is getting into gaming. He likes that you can switch out the keys and the LED built in lights are really cool.

Must have for any RBG system. It comes with optional replacement keys for the left hand placement. The keys are raised on outer edges to support proper finger placement.

I love this keyboard. I had the original Corsair K70RGB which unfortunately had an accident on my part by having a wiring complication that wasn’t worth fixing. This resulted in the reason to my overall purchase. I love the new drivers they implemented. The cherry Mx red switches are flawless just as I expected. My gaming experience was really awesome for hours upon hours of use. Great multimedia buttons and easy access to volume, extra USB port, and overall functionality. I would recommend this mechanical cherry red switch keyboard with anyone who has interest in a comfortable, functional gaming experience.

I got this keyboard because some times I'm working at night with only the computer monitor on and I can't see what I'm typing. I figured I would try to get something fairly well priced for a gaming keyboard with lights. This thing is pretty cool. It's very bright in a dark room. I'm not a huge fan of the feel of the keyboard keys. They are plastic and feel a bit cheap. Also when typing it doesn't sound as pleasing as other keyboard, but that's just a personal preference. Now, the software, iCue, is not my favorite. I had issues with it not recognizing my keyboard. I was troubleshooting for over an hour until I read a comment on YouTube that fixed the issue. I still feel like it doesn't work all that great and can be confusing. But with all that being said I'm happy with the purchase.
