A solid PSU but the wires are underwhelming. The wires are rather thin and not very flexible. The end connectors are also underwhelming as compared to others that I've used.

PSU started to fail after 5 months

PSU failed after 5 months.
My computer would randomly shut down when playing Overwatch; a non CPU/GPU intensive game; when this happened I would have to disconnect and reconnect the PSU cable to be able to turn my computer back on again.
This happened, again, when playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition, another medium load game. I tested my computer using OCCT's built in PSU stress test and I didn't get any shut downs; really intensive games didn't seem to shut down my computer either.
I purchased the PSU on September last year but I only built my computer on December; since everything was working fine combined with the fact that I would have to disconnect/reconnect the PSU I suspected the PSU was faulty. In order to test this I ordered a brand new RM750x.
I got the RM750x on Friday, replaced my PSU (RM750) and I haven't had a single crash since then when playing Overwatch thus confirming my PSU was indeed the faulty component causing the shut downs.
On the bright side; yes, the PSU has a 10 year warranty and Corsair will honor it, but they will only replace the faulty unit with a new one. Kinda useless since I had to purchase a new PSU to test that in-fact the PSU was failing.

I was able to boot into a fresh install of windows on a new build using this power supply. When I restarted after installing my video card drivers my computer failed to start.
When I pushed the power button it wouldn't boot. The motherboard was illuminated but the fans would only spin for a fraction of a second. After extensive testing it turned out that this power supply died.
Due to AMD's limited Zen 3 availability I wasn't able to complete my build in time to test this power supply within Best Buy's return window. Now I have to RMA to Corsair and use a temporary drive in the meantime.
The cables can get messy with video cards that requires two 6+2 connectors because each cable has two 6+2 ends per rail. Since my 3080 requires each plug be on a separate rail I am left with two 6+2 cables hanging in my case.

I would give a review on functionality and how great it is but its still in the vacuum sealed plastic . i need a bigger power supply based on my gou i have now. Ive tried to talk to my "local" best buy to see if i can exchange it for a bigger power supply but i was told that they cant help me and since its passed the 15 days the store doesnt see why they would take the item . So now i have a un-opened power supply.

After a week of use I am constantly dealing with pc crashes. I've literally tested every other part and still have this issue. Clearly its the power supply so I guess it's time to disassemble the whole PC ship this garbage back and get a new one. What a waste of my time.

I went to put the power supply in my pc and it didn't supply any power to my pc.I put in my old power supply that I wanted to upgrade from and my pc ran fine.Overall bad power supply wouldn't recommend this to anybody.
