My last Corsair RM1200 lasted me from April 2015 until May 2025. So naturally I went with the same brand. Solid PSUs.

Good emergency replacement PSU. My Father in laws PSU messed up, hard to replace it fast. Couldn't beat the price and availability.

Great PSU however I wish I had gone for the non -e variant this is still a fantastic psu but I know the X has better components and could help the unit last longer.

Good PSU except you can not buy replacements for the all white cables that come with it from Corsair. They only offer them with black connectors/plugs.

The power supply itself is good, it's the thin cheap cables they come with now. Used to be, the cables were bundled together in a well wraped casing, now they are just a buch of thin wires capped at the ends and make cable management a pain.

Honestly I’m not happy with how Corsair has been building there products lately the unit right out of the box didn’t work not my first rodeo with this. troubleshooting the problem led me right back to this psu and honestly it could have been just the 1 and million but I can’t say I like this one now the 750 I’ve had no problems with and still use in another build but it is the older version of there rm line now I will say the cables from Corsair are amazing quality

The cabbles are nearly impossible to remove from mobo once they are installed. Atx3.0 connectors are not very friendly.

Headed back to Best Buy to return my 2nd power supply this week. Corsair has no customer service or technical support. I would has been fine if they had someone to help troubleshoot the unit. My only option is to return it. Both power supplies would turn off 1 sec after connecting PS-ON and ground with nothing else connected.
