Works great! Easy to keep cable management clean being modular. There hasn't been any any coil whine when under a load like my old pny psu. It has a small knob on the back of it to adjust the fan speed to help keep the noise down and keep the unit cool as well. This psu also has the 12V-2x6 for 5xxx cards.

Reliable and Quiet Power Supply for High-End Build

I recently upgraded my PC and chose the Corsair RM1000x power supply, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The fully modular design made cable management a breeze, allowing me to keep my build clean and organized. The 1000W capacity provides ample headroom for my components, including a high-end GPU, ensuring stable performance even under heavy loads. I appreciate the Cybenetics Gold certification, which gives me confidence in its efficiency and reliability. One standout feature is the Zero RPM Fan Mode. During light tasks, the fan remains off, making the PSU virtually silent. When the fan does kick in, it's quiet and unobtrusive, contributing to an overall low-noise system. Installation was straightforward, and the included cables are of high quality. The PSU's build quality feels solid, and the 10-year warranty offers peace of mind. Overall, the Corsair RM1000x is a top-tier power supply that delivers on performance, efficiency, and quiet operation. I highly recommend it to anyone building a high-performance PC.

An excellent power supply from Corsair. Extremely quiet, fully modular, and the included connectors allow from awesome cable management and a clean look, without having to buy sleeves or aftermarket cables. No coil whine from my unit, and all the power I need at the moment.

Bought it because it was 50 series ready, worked fantastic out of the box, the fan controll nob in the back gives you plenty of fan control for this unit the ease of cable management was a plus as well, all the cables were easy to use and easy to read. A con I have would be because they are individually sleeved cables, they sometimes get out of order when using the built-in plastic bit but not a huge deal. A fantastic power supply none the less. It was a tad expensive, but on a sale, I'd be a no-brainer buy.

I am powering an RTX 5080 and a Ryzen 9800X3D both overclocked lightly and this power supply comfortably handles it, staying really quiet for the most part. You’ll only hear the fans ramp up when stress testing and even then its no louder than my case fans.

Fantastic modular PSU, replaced a dodgy "RAIDMAX 750" that came with a prebuilt computer I'd bought. Note that if your RMx series power supply seems super loud, there is a knob on the back that sets the speed of the automatic fan control minimum speed. It's absolutely safe to turn it all the way down until it clicks, this puts it into silent mode and absolutely won't hurt anything. The fans will still work, they just won't kick on until it reaches ~60-70% of the rated wattage. I love the extremely beefy design of the cabling, with the soft yet strong braided insulation jacket, it looks great if you happen to have a window or glass-sided case. I think Corsair did a fantastic job with the design of this PSU: aesthetics, usability, and sound levels. Would definitely buy again.

I needed this for my rig after upgrading to a 5070ti and this even came with the 16pin power cable I needed that made the instal as easy as putting together legos. Quiet, great power overhead for every casual pc user and most moderate/advanced users and feels premium.

Excellent power supply. Installation was easy thanks to the fully modular cables, and cable quality feels premium. The unit runs incredibly quiet even under heavy gaming and productivity loads, and power delivery has been rock solid. The 1000W capacity gives plenty of headroom for high-end GPUs and future upgrades, and the overall build quality feels top-tier. No coil whine, no instability, and great efficiency. Exactly what you want in a PSU — reliable, silent, and well-built. Highly recommend this for anyone running a powerful system or planning future upgrades.

This is by far the best psu I have ever had! I had to get a new one because my 4080 was flashing a white led light & after some quick research, it was due to insufficient power coming from my psu. After this purchase, never had the problem again. Also, this is the quietest one I’ve ever owned. Definitely 5 stars!!

Swapped a potentially problematic PSU for this one in a new build. The pin layout on the PSU itself is very neatly organized and easy to manage. It was a lot easier to install than the other PSU we were using. Very quiet, powers everything very nicely. Highly recommended.

It is worth noting is actually a PLATINUM efficiency rated PSU per the Cybernetics report and analysis ln their database, a step above the Gold Cybernetics rating printed on the box. Onto the PSU itself, it does its job well and with class. It is virtually silent at idle and under load, and my sample had no coil whine whatsoever. It powers my 7800X3D/4090 system exceptionally. I installed this after trying a brand new ROG Thor Platinum II 1200w, which not only was more expensive but had horrific coil whine out of the box both powered on and off along with a rattling fan. This PSU has no compromises, runs efficiently and quietly, and is priced very fairly. Get this one if its a top-tier 1000w PSU you need.

This is a great purchase for your system. It powers my system with a 3090 rtx graphics card with no problems. It also has an adjustable fan speed on the power supply itself. Easy to install. Took about 15 minutes

Very straightforward installation of this PSU. I thought this would get loud since it's a 1000W but not really. I think my air coming out of my vent in the room is louder than this. I really enjoy this is modular and I can plug in only what I need. Plus this is 50-series optimized so I don't have issues with what cords to have. As a new PC builder, I don't know what to do with my extra cords. It would be cool to have a bag or something I could stick them in so they don't collect dust and I have them all in one spot.
