Works well. Dont skimp when buying a psu. This is worth the investment. It comes with some cable management aids which is a plus.

All-around great power supply, to the point that I would have been happy paying the regular price at the time. The cables feel and look great, and 1000W gives me plenty of headroom for any CPU/GPU upgrades down the line. 10 years manufacturer's warranty is also great for peace of mind.

Excellent power supply. Installation was easy thanks to the fully modular cables, and cable quality feels premium. The unit runs incredibly quiet even under heavy gaming and productivity loads, and power delivery has been rock solid.
The 1000W capacity gives plenty of headroom for high-end GPUs and future upgrades, and the overall build quality feels top-tier. No coil whine, no instability, and great efficiency. Exactly what you want in a PSU — reliable, silent, and well-built.
Highly recommend this for anyone running a powerful system or planning future upgrades.

Does exactly what you need it to, no qualms here... Having control of the fan speed is pretty nice, it rarely ever needs to be turned up so its dead quiet

Works great. Had a Gigabyte power supply blow on my computer and replaced it with the same model for that one to blow within a few days of recieving. So I bought this Corsair to replace it and swapped all the cables, it qprked just as expected and still works. Also the optional manual fan control is a nice added feature. I will no longer buyGigabyte power supplies and will now continue to buy Corsair

I paired the CORSAIR RMX Series RM1000x with my new MSI RTX 5080 GAMING TRIO OC, and this power supply hasn’t flinched once. If you're building a high-end system with next-gen components, this PSU has your back.
Power Delivery & Efficiency:
The 1000W output is more than enough to handle the power-hungry 5080, a Ryzen 9 CPU, and a full load of peripherals. With Cybenetics Gold certification, it’s delivering clean, stable power without breaking a sweat.
Silent and Cool:
Even under full load with the GPU and CPU working hard, the PSU stays whisper-quiet. The zero-RPM fan mode is great for low-load operation, and when the fan does kick in, it’s barely audible.
Top-Tier Build Quality:
The fully modular design made cable management super clean, especially with the 5080’s 12V-2x6 GPU cable, which is conveniently included in the box. It plugs right into the PSU without needing an adapter, keeping the setup tidy and efficient. All the included cables are high-quality, clearly labeled, and flexible enough to route cleanly even in tighter cases.
Perfect Fit for Next-Gen Builds:
If you're running a 5080 or planning for future upgrades, the RM1000x gives you plenty of headroom. No random reboots, no power hiccups—just solid performance from the ground up.
Verdict:
CORSAIR nailed it with the RM1000x. It’s efficient, quiet, and has no problem supporting high-end components like the RTX 5080. This is a premium PSU worth every penny.

This PSU is overkill for my PC build but it works great. It’s fully modular so you use the cables you need and it’s less clutter in your PC case. Having 1000w is more than I need but it just gives me room to expand and not worry about power.
