You can’t go wrong with Corsair. At least I haven’t. I have their memory, cooling units, and now I have their top-of-the-line psu. I have confidence why. I turn on my pc that it is going to start up fast and strong. I run 2 video cards, blu-ray player, cd-rw, an ssd, and a hdd. Plus I have a water cooling unit for my gpu. Not a hitch. I would definitely buy this again, if I was building another unit. For sure.

You will only ever need this if you intend to run the most powerful of equipment. The box is modular enough and will reach anything on a ATX board easily. Just be aware that I do not believe there enough cables for a motherboard that has a optional 8 pin slot for additional power features. This is a optional plug and you will likely find adapters easily for it if you need to have this. Lastly the screws do not mount well to some cases and may require some rigging if you need to firmly mount it. My solution to this is your standard zip ties.

Ive had my 1000 watt gold standard power supply since 2015. Its still running today with no issues. I decided to upgrade to 1200 watts for extra space when i decide to upgrade. You can never go wrong with corsair gold standard. Best buy carriers everything you need for building a PC. I reccomend getting the total tech package for extra insurance purposes. It’s definitely come in handy and has paid for itself multplie times since ive had it.

It works! Ordered this to accommodate my power hungry 4090 and it's doing it's job just fine! I'm not sure why it took so long for a manufacturer to change the side of the ports but it makes cable management 100x easier and if I need to add or remove anything, it's just as easy! Genius design!
That being said, I knocked off a star because the cable quality is pretty meh and unfortunately right now since these are the new Type-5 connectors, there aren't a whole lot of options that you can order for something nicer (braided, etc).
Would recommend though!

Powerong very well my 7900x and 3090 system. This was more than needed but want to upgrade to 5090 if they are properly priced, but as of kow the psu works good.

Easy install plenty of cables for any type of build as well. Corsair parts all the way. Plenty of power. Current build is 7950x3d, 64gb ram, and 7900xtx. I have barely even even scratched the surface running COD on ultra settings 1440p at 240hz on a 45 inch monitor. Powerhouse!

I got this Power supply after having an EVGA 850 for less than a year. The theorethical power draw of my system was about 100 W below that, but after a while, the computer started to crash now and then, giving me a black screen but RGB lights were still on and unresponsive to power button. So, after some troubleshooting, I decided to get this powerfull power supply and all the crashing stopped. I'm running a Ryzen 5900X, RTX 3090 FE, 64 Gb ram, 2 SSD and liquid cooling system, in case this helps someone.

Seriously, I did everything to lower that DPC Latency. Changed UEFI settings, flashed new UEFI firmware, changed affinities, DDU drivers, new Nvidia drivers, old nvidia drivers, high performance mode, reseating the card and riser... Sometimes it works for a while, but it never stays consistant. All audio works perfectly with no clicks or pops outside the card. After doing more troubleshooting, I eventually ended up spending money to fix the problem and this was the first item on the list. I figured that the most recent start of this issue is the CPU upgrade I did. At first it didn't do it for several weeks, so I dismissed the possibility early. This PSU fixed the problem immediately. It replaced an older PSU with the same-ish wattage rating. All my audio problems from the card went away. I still get DPC "spikes", but it is not high enough or is evident in the audio.

A bit over priced, but it’s better than its predecessors since its connectors are type 5 and not breaded which is something you wanna avoid. But the price makes up for saving you from buying an extra type 5 GPU connector which is $40.

Very easy to set up and so far so good. I think I needed to buy this bc my pc kept shutting off, which I’m thinking due to lack of power. Ever since I installed it hasn’t shut off. Fingers cross it continues to help my build.

So far its been great. Went from an 850 to this 1200 and connecting the cords on the side were easy. If you want to future proof your gaming pc, this is a go to for me
