One of the best you can get! Literally the design for the cords made cable management so much easier! And with a 4090 or strong GPU I highly recommend this new version so you can just use a 5.0 cord to connect instead of the adapter!

Very quiet under load. Silent when idle.
Side mount ports make for clean install. Make sure you have at least 1/2 inch of space between side panel and the PSU.
Cables are very stiff and do not bend easy.
Includes 12pin GPU cable for cleaner look with no need for adapters.
All cables are very long.

I purchased this PSU specifically for its count of PCIe / CPU power connectors. I needed a minimum of 7 PCIe / CPU connections (5x 8-pin, 2x CPU). This guy has 8, which leaves me some headroom if needed in the future.
In terms of what this PSU does differently than others; depending on your case, having the power connectors on the side of the PSU makes for cleaner cable runs & more space. Another significant change in pace is that this PSU is equipped with Corsairs new "Type 5" cables. Which have significantly smaller connectors than before. I'm more or less indifferent to this change, if anything they seem bit more difficult to handle than the larger connectors. But they better match the new 12vhpwr standard. So, I can see why they made this change.
I very much wish that they included two of their 12vhpwr cables with a PSU of this wattage (1200w). Typically when you're buying a PSU of this caliber it's to run more than one GPU. It'd be less of a faux paw if you could buy an extra separately... but you can't. Corsair doesn't sell a standalone 12vhpwr cable in their new Type 5 form factor. I had to use one of the 12vhpwr adapters included with my GPUs, which felt bad, but isn't a huge deal.

Great power supply has its own 12v cable for 40 series video cards . Make sure your case has plenty of side room I have a large case and just barely got the side to close.
Could use more flexible and sleeved cables.

A hefty PSU for a hefty PC rig. I got this not only because of the capacity it puts out. But also because it has the cables coming from the side of it. Leaving space in front of it if you need an HDD drive cage.

Its an A-TIER power supply that is is fitted with enough cables to power a modern pc. The unit claims to use japanese capacitors that are capable of handling very high temperatures (which is excellent). The "SHIFT" feature can be restrictive in some cases. Make sure if your case has a sheath that covers the psu, that you can actually access the cables.
Currently runs my B650 AM5 motherboard with a ryzen 7 7800x3d processor and rtx 3070 gpu.

The ports being on the side of the PSU make it very easy to keep cables tidy. Previously my Corsair 5000D had a huge rat nest of cables shoved in front, but it made it so much more tidy.
