So I want to start off by saying that I think this is a great headset... for the PC. If you're intending to get these for the PC, for the price and the sound/mic quality you cannot go wrong and these would warrant a 5 star review. However, if you are looking to buy these for the PS4, THEN STAY AWAY!! This headset work with the PS4, but it's missing a lot of the features that most people look for in a PS4 gaming headset. Let's start with the PROS for PS4:
1. Easy to set up - you just plug in the usb adapter, turn the headset on and you're ready to go.
2. Quality wise, these is a good headset (exception noted in the CONS). The outside of the ear pieces have metal on them. The cushion for your head and ears are both very comfortable and I wore them for 8 hours with some intermittent breaks and I actually kind of forgot I was wearing them.
3. I tried them out on my laptop and the sound quality on a PC is great, especially for the price tag. I didn't test out the Dolby 7.1 surround sound, but I would give the regular audio quality on my laptop an 8/10.
Now onto the CONS:
1. Is not very compatible with PS4 sound card - while the headset works and will give you sound and you'll be able to speak, due to the lack of compatibility with the PS4's sound card the innate volume of the sound coming out of the headphones is very low.
2. Lack of control functionality for the PS4 - unfortunately, if you were planning on using these on the PS4 the volume control on the headset doesn't work to increase or decrease the volume. To me this was a bit of a pain because of how quiet the sound already is due to what I stated above and I didn't feel immersed in my game the way I would have liked to be. Also, none of the presets work on the PS4; these only work on the PC as well.
3. In addition to the volume control not working on the PS4, the overall feel of the volume knob feels cheap. There would be times while using it on my laptop that I would try to adjust the volume and it would feel like it would click, but the volume would never adjust so I'd have to try usually 2 to 3 times (especially when turning the volume down) to get it to work properly.
So in summary, I am not hating on these headset by any means. I think this would make a great, budget friendly PC headset. My main intention on writing this review was for anyone considering using it on the PS4 (as I found very little to go on review wise about it). While you can still use the headset, just be aware that the volume will be low, especially when compared to PS4 compatible headsets, and you will not be able to adjust it.

No complaints about these so far. They sound great, super comfy, and the buttons are easy to use by touch. Auto mic mute feature when the boom is raised is really nice.
Haven't measured battery life but I charge a couple times a week with pretty heavy use so it seems solid. You can use them while charging too and the cord is super long so even if they run low mid session it's no biggie.
the 7.1 surround is legit. If you have games that can really use it (I play Vermintide 2) it's worth it.

I love this headset. I went to this from an over 2 years old pair of razer krakens, and these are a good step up. The sound is good, they're VERY comfortable, etc.
They seem to fit very loosely on my head though, and I wish they would sit tighter. One of the buttons, the power one, also seems a bit loose and wobbly where it is. But other than that, I've had no problems with this headset and have quite enjoyed it so far.

So the sound of the headset is really good for the price point. The RGB light look nice if you look at, you are wearing them so whats the point. Now the fit is strange due to the angle of the band and ear cups. The headset is light on the ears, it never starts to get uncomfortable like other headsets. The Best part for me however is 7.1 that works and they are wireless for bellow $100!!!! I recommend this to anyone that doesn't like wasting money.

The surround sound in these headphones is great. I like the extender too and even after hours of gaming my neck and ears don't feel tired out (since I wear glasses). The cloth is breathable so your ears are all sweaty/oily like all the fake leather headsets. I liked these so much I convinced a friend to buy them like a week later.
My only gripe is that I guess I have a small head so even on the smallest/unadjusted setting they slide off u_u

I guess you can classify me as an Audiophile as I have many headphones and use them separately depending on the case, situation, environment etc. Some of the items I use are Fostex TH900, Sony MDR-Z7, XBA-Z5, Tiesto Edition, etc.
By all means, this isn't an audiophile level headphone nor it comes close to one, however, that doesn't mean these headphones are bad either.
Comfort: As for comfort, these headphones are very comfortable in my opinion. I had to use this for 6 hours straight one time, however, I was not fatigued at all. Comfort was very great for me and highly recommended
Audio: If you're going to use this for music, don't bother because these aren't made for those. However, when it comes to gaming or work related stuff, these are great. They are very clear. For the cost, they are great and I got what I expected.
Mic: I can't really say how good they are, but through Line and Skype, both on bluetooth connection, the other side said they could hear me clearly. You have to keep in mind, this was done in a controlled environment and not outside, don't know how they will perform with outside noise.
Overall: I recommend them especially at the price point (was at 80 when i got it) but don't expect audiophile stuff.

Being loyal to Corsair and wanting a wireless headset, these are perfect. Comfort is good even wearing glasses and having huge ears. Connectivity is great; I can walk 30 feet away with two walls and appliances between my PC and I and still have connection. RGB doesn't tickle my fancy. Battery lasts a long while. Muting the mic when flipping it up is absolutely amazing and hands down my favorite feature. Overall these are great.

Audio is crisp. Feel great. Only issue is that at the most compact it still hangs a little low. I don't have a huge head, but i don't have a tiny head either. Other than that. I love these. I can leave my computer and go to the fridge up stairs and still hear the conversation in Discord or the audio from the movie i am watching.

I got this to use for webmeetings now that I have to work from home. The sound was good and the mic works well. The computer recognizes it quickly. I was on a 6 hour call and then used it some more that day and the charge lasted without problems. It is a bit bulky compared to some other sets, but that is because it does go over the ear and not just on it. I am very pleased with this headset.

I own two of these, one for me and one for my son. We love them. Comfortable, good sound, good battery life, and all around great. I like how you can move the boom mic up to turn it off, and you get a notification the mic is off. Then, back down to turn on. For games I'm not playing online, I just keep the mic up and out of the way.
One strong suggestion: they go on sale periodically, so wait for a sale price. Don't pay full price.

Almost everything about this headset is perfect. Easy to wear for hours with little discomfort. Great sound quality even over wireless (thanks to it being connected through a USB emitter). Mic clarity is exceptional.
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, which is perfect in my book, is that the head phones have no hold on your head and can slide off very easily. Not to big of an issue, still love these and use them everyday! :)

- Excellent sound quality for gaming
- Dolby Headphone 7.1 (you'll want to disable it when listening to stereo music)
- Comfortable with glasses, if you size them correctly and periodically stretch/flex the top headband to loosen it up
- Long rechargeable battery life
- iCUE software lets you control graphic EQ bands and sidetone (feeding your mic sound back into the speakers, so you don't sound so distant)

I haven't yet spent many hours with this headset gaming. They are pretty comfortable and the audio is solid. The microphone is is decent but can pick up a bit of ambient noise. This is my first true headset with microphone, the bonus is that it's wireless and comfortable. I have a larger head so comfort isn't always easy to find. I am still on the initial charge, maybe 5 hours of usage at this point.

Been using this headset for half a year now and its been a great headset for gaming. Surround sound is very good and accurate, my ears and head are comfortable wearing this headset. Mic is good isn't the greatest but others will be able to understand you. battery life is good will drain quicker is you have RGB on. Overrall I really like this headset and would recommend it.

Picked up on clearance for 60, worth 140. I have had 0 issues with it. Battery will last me 1 day or so before i need to recharge it but im on my pc ALOT. About 12-15 hours constant use. Range is exceptional. Tracks through my house decently. No latency in the sound either. Quality is good, metal and does not feel cheaply made. Mic sounds great and sound is balanced. Equalizer in ICUE is good to use.

I bought two of these, one for my brother and one for myself. I will be comparing these to the Playstation Platinum Headset (ranging from $129-$149, depending on sales).
Comfort: these are amazingly comfortable. They dont clamp on your head like the Platinums do. They also dont make my ears/head hot, the Platinums don't either.
Build Quality: There's definitely some build sturdiness and nothing feels like it'll break. It's no where near as sturdy/rigid as the Platinums albeit, but still commendable.
Sound: This headset sounds FAR better than the Platinums in both aspects be it speaker output and mic input. The Platinums do fine but compared to this it's an easy pick. The Void comes with Corsair's iCUE audio software that let's you pick and customize EQ presets. The best way to compare what the Platinums output sound's like is Corsair's "FPS" EQ preset. This makes both headsets sound identical, but the main issue is the Platinums ALWAYS sound like that while the Void can be changed for when you want to watch a movie or listen to music.
Both headsets can be used on PC and PS4. The iCUE software EQ cannot be changed/adjusted while being used on PS4 but whatever you have it set to while on PC will carry over on the dongle to your PS4, which is cool! Also there is a wide range of RGB control.
I'd recommend this headset to ANYONE that wants an affordable quality product. Especially if you can get it on sale for around $40-$60.

Beautiful design, easy to use, however software can be buggy sometimes. My build has lots of corsair rgb accessories, so software is slow to load up setting on the headphones. Overall its very comfortable, could have been better with fau-leather ear pads. Mic quality and sound quality are pretty good. battery can last a long time as well. Got them for $50.

First off, these are great mid level gaming headsets, but they are rather delicate and tend to last only about a year with heavy usage, especially from people who are less careful with their belongings (think teenage son gamer), so I recommend getting a 2 year accidental replacement warranty because you're probably going to use it. Aside from going up to a much more expensive brand/model (Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, $300+), this is a great headset with no real latency issues. There are minor sound glitches on occasion, but for the most part, for around $100, these are fantastic wireless headsets. They are comfortable in extended use, with no headaches, pinched head/ears, etc., even with larger head sizes. If anything, they are a bit on the loose side. The USB connection/charging port does tend to wear out with heavy usage. They are almost completely noise canceling - so expect to IM your child if they're not close by or in the same room as you as they won't hear you yelling. The microphone is not stowable, but it can flip up when not in use. These light up, so you know if someone is active at the time. I believe my son noted that there is a button for on the fly muting, rather than having to mute in settings, etc. All in all, these were a great purchase for the money and my son loves them.
