Corsair Void RGB Elite wireless head phones

These are one of the best gaming head phone out there other than the Corsair Void pro Yellow jacket which it's sad due to the fact Corsair no longer makes them or if they do you can't find them anymore not even at the Corsair on line shop. This headset has the same quality sound and comfort the only thing I can actually say is a TRUE con about them is in the specs for them they state the battery will hold a 16 hour talk time charge and takes 2 hours to charge but as for the 16 hours of talk time /charge it doesn't when I had my first set which was the Void Pro Yellow Jacket I could charge them up to a full charge with in 2 hours the same as these and the charge would last 3 days without having to charge. With this set I charge them for 2 hours and within 3 to 4 hours of gaming the beep beep alert goes off telling me that I need to recharge them. But all in all they are one of the best out there for wireless head phones and I 100% recommend them

Great sound. Comfortable, not heavy sitting on your head for several hours. Clear voice listening and talking. Battery was 65% charged when I made purchase, charged them later that night. Been useing them for 2 weeks now and have not had to charge them yet. Happy with them would recommend!!!!

I bought my headset many years ago, when they first released. It finally died! They’re built to last, I wasn’t even upset when they died because the price is spectacular. Sure there may be better wireless headsets, but NOT FOR THE PRICE! These are beyond excellent for $80. Long battery life, great sound, 7.1 surround, comfortable, flexible and strong. I’ve stepped on them, dropped them, and probably flung them at some point during the years. Bravo Corsair, it’s an excellent product.

I bought this headset in april of '23. I used it for work about a year. The headphone drouns out the noise of people around you even though the mic still picks it up. Sadly just after the warranty expired the headset snapped when I took it off. Considering the price increase, due to inflation, and lack of quality I am considering another brand for replacement

The Corsair Void RGB Elite has been a very solid everyday gaming headset for me on both PC and PlayStation. The wireless connection is reliable, and I can move around my room without constantly worrying about dropouts or cable snags. Battery life is strong enough that I can get through long gaming sessions or several nights of play before needing to recharge, which makes it easy to just turn it on and go. Comfort is one of the standout strengths. The ear cups are roomy and the padding is soft, so I can wear them for hours without my ears getting sore, and the fit works well even with glasses. The sound is more than good enough for gaming, with clear voices, punchy effects, and positional audio that makes it easy to follow what is going on in shooters and RPGs. The microphone does its job well for party chat and Discord, so teammates can hear me clearly without needing a separate mic. The RGB lighting and software customization are nice bonuses rather than the main attraction. You can tweak EQ and lighting if you want, but they also work perfectly fine out of the box without any tuning. Overall, it is a dependable wireless headset that balances comfort, performance, and features in a way that feels well suited for regular gaming on PC and PlayStation.

    Experience w/ Corsair HS80 Max, in the 1st 90-days

Product was intended to replace a Corsair Void Elite purchased in 2017. The Void Elite was an excellent product, but an aging design. Also, my 2-yr. warranty on the Void had expired; so, it made sense to see what was available at the same price point today. This product, the HS80 Max, outperforms not only the VOID (as expected), but all other products around the $75~$150 range. It also out performed all-but-one products in the $150~$225 range. There are only 3 other superior headsets I have tried, one in the next tier price point up ($150~$225), and only because of its microphone; and the other two around $275~325. With this headset, you get $275~$325 quality, at 1/3 the cost. It has both wifi & Bluetooth, and one can have both a wifi and a Bluetooth device simultaniously. I use this feature to switch between my VOIP-line and my Cell-line; but, I have been told it works for switching between calls and gaming as well. I live on the 4th floor, of a brick building (the building had previously been clinic/office space for a small hospital wing). The Wifi works great anywhere on my floor, but does cut out once I enter the elevator, or walk a flight or two down the stairs. Wifi resumes working great, if I walk outside, in the general area of the front of the building, below where I live. It sorta begins to falter en rout to the dumpster. At the time I tried this, it was 40-deg and dry. Performance characteristics might have been different at a different time of year. Battery life seems longer that that of the VOID-Elite, but this is subjective, I have not yet stress tested this. The mic is close to, but not quite, studio quality under good conditions. It is also good for office calls under less than ideal conditions, but tends to pick-up back ground noise. Ht does NOT come with a pop-filter (unlike the VOID, which needed a pop-filter, just to achieve the same quality as the HS80 without one); so, adding a 3rd-party pop-filter, other equipment, oir additional software steps would likely remedy this. If you have a sound -booth, this might also solve the issue. Over-all, this a a high quality product for its price point. It performs excellent under good conditions; and fair enough for office/business calls under less than fair conditions. It gives the value one would expect of headsets costing 2x~3x as much.

The dolby surround mode is horrible, set it to stereo and it sounded a lot better, but the battery life is super poor even with the RGB turned off, I ended up having it die mid gaming sessions. Definitely not satisfactory for $100. The only good things I can say is the earpads are comfortable and I like the metal construction, but I'll take plastic if it means bigger battery. I'd say skip this headset. I ended up returning it for the Razer Barricuda instead which supports bluetooth and 2.4ghz, with a detachable mic so it can also just be used as around the home headphones.

When I purchased these, these are my 3rd overall pair of Corsair headphones, with good reason. The sound quality is pretty phenomenal, for a headset, mostly under $100. The earpads are very comfortable, and can be worn, for hours, with no discomfort. Affordable, comfortable, highly recommended!

Hello I purchased this head set beacuse of the corsair reputation, Well it is light weight, it is a little tight on my head but not intrusive, I can get used to it and it will break in. I like to mention its a easy install, and if you are a current user of ICUE softwear , its plug in play, it is good sounding, nice base, great highs, battery life is good 4 hours plus so far, Note it will self install in windows if you dont use ICUE softwear. Thank you

So far after a week of usage this headset has been pretty much perfect. It won't beat my wired Sennheisers for sound quality but in every other aspect I am happy. I recently had to return a Logitech headset for abysmal drivers that crashed constantly leaving the headset non-functional until after a reboot. No such problems here. Wireless is a godsend. Went into the store planning to purchase the model above at twice the cost but found these much more comfortable and took a chance - glad I did.

Pros: 7.1 surround, wireless, compatible with Icue, build quality is good for its price range. Turning mike up towards ceiling mutes mike. Good sound. Eq adjustment in icue. Decent mic. Volume button easy to feel. Mute and power buttons easily accessible when gaming. Good bass. Easy to make custom sound profiles in icue. When powered on last sound profile automatically restored. Wide range for adjustment. If you already have icue compatible products no further software needed to run. case: corsair 570x mirrored black (sp120 fans removed), keyboard: corsair k68 mechanical rgb, mouse: corsair iron sword wireless rgb, aio: h150i elite capellix, 1 x corsair commander core controlling 6 x ml 120 pro rgb fans, ram: corsair vengeance pro rgb ddr4 3600 c14, 1x lighting node pro controlling 6 lighting strips, power supply corsair rm850i. All of those products controlled through corsair Icue software. Going with corsair products has greatly reduced the rgb software on my pc. I have had no issues with icue in the last year. Corsair has worked really hard on icue and it is really starting to pay off. Makes my life easier and frees up so much system usage only having one software for all peripherals and rgb lighting. Also icue makes keeping firmware updated on corsair products easy. cons: The only way I could see to adjust the sound was Icue. Highs do sound good but not up to extreme audiophile standards. But at this price point it will be hard to beat the sound and features. If you don't have corsair products you might have to download it to control headset sound and headset rgb.

This is by no means an audiophile quality headset of course, but given the price point, I love this headset. The main thing for me is comfort; when I wear my Sony XM4s, despite being more premium, I get a headache within a couple hours. These I can wear all day, which is great. It does rely on Corsair’s iCue software, which I use anyways so that is not an issue with me but for anyone who understandably does not want extra bloatware, this is not for you. The audio and mic quality is average for this price point. The directional audio is a bit of a weak point but works well enough. These headphones do fall off easily if you move a lot, so do ming that this might be a love or hate situation.

Best bang for your buck hands down. Especially when on sale which is fairly often. Comfortable. Nice drop mic that mutes when up. Decent sound, very reliable. Battery lasted me about 2 years. Fairly easy to replace but there is a thin wire that is super easy to break when pulling apart. They got me for sure hence the new one. Voice quality is decent to. All around middle quality with cheap price line. Highly recommend.

Comfortable ear pads but spacious enough not to cause rapid overheating of the ear. The band over the top is comfortable enough, not overly remarkable but is surves its function without the irritation of being uncomfortable. Mic quality is pretty good.

Got these to replace the hyperX cloud headset. The issue i was having of my mic picking up the audio the headphones were playing is gone. Very nice headphones with great features. There's as couple options for muting, wireless, RGB, and comfortable. Not sure how long the advertised charge is but I'm averaging about 8-10 hours of continuous use without issue

Okay, this review is based off my previous headset. It was an Alienware Tri Mode Wireless Gaming Headset - AW920H. This headset I have is okay. It's comfortable. I wear glasses so I know I was looking for a headset that took the pressure off the pressure point with my glasses. The issue I have is the Bluetooth aspect. I purchased this in February 2024. About 2 months ago, I started having connection issues with this headset. I know there is a limit regarding how far away you can be from the dongle. However, I know I don't leave 58that far from my desktop with my headset on the same floor. However, if I go in the basement to switch over laundry for example The headset is clear. If my kitchen is next to my room/office why is the connection so spotty that I have to turn off the headset and turn it back on? I hope that make sense. The sound is good. It feels like noise cancelling isn't that great. However, these are louder than my previous headset. Overall, I will probably replace these sooner than later,

I've had this headset for about a week now and it doesn't seem as heavy as others have said. It sits comfortably on my head, though like others said, it doesn't clamp at the bottom of the headset so it feels a bit loose. Sound is good, mic is good, though I need to mess with the settings more to see how to adjust the game versus voices settings.
