Customers love the fun, engaging gameplay and portability of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and generally accessible price as major plus points. However, some players found the difficulty and controls challenging, with a few also mentioning concerns about certain aspects of the level design and resolution, particularly in handheld mode. The remastered versions were generally well-received.

Being a huge Crash Bandicoot fan I was ecstatic to hear that it was coming to the Switch, in a Trilogy no less. The game itself is phenomenal and challenging if you're trying to 100% the game. The graphics are amazing compared to the original PlayStation, and the titles make a great tie in to the newest game if you’re interested. No regrets with this game.

This game is amazing! I’m not too much of a fan of remakes, but this is definitely a blast from the past. I mean this in a good way. I played Crash Bandicoot 2, 3, and 4. I never played the first game though. I now get to experience playing the first game just as I would years ago. The delivery was fast and smooth, and I received my game in new condition. Thanks, Best Buy!

Playing through the original three Crash Bandicoot games are a lot of fun. They look and feel better than ever. While they are still very solid platformers there are plenty of frustrating areas to traverse as well. Some of the level design is a product of a bygone era that can at times be tedious however this is a small gripe in an otherwise great collection of platforming nostalgia. Overall I would recommend especially if you grew up playing them. Oh and Crash For Smash!!! Make it happen.

I used to play this game when I was younger so I brought it hoping my son would enjoy it. He loves it! I enjoy watching him play and because you get 3 full games in one, it’s definitely worth the money!

Crash On Nintendo Switch Is A Dream Come True

Who would've ever thought the day would come when the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy would be released on a Nintendo system? Crash Bandicoot on the original Playstation was one of the very first video games I ever played. When I saw the announcement for it's Nintendo Switch port in a Nintendo Direct, I was overjoyed. However, I was very wary about the quality of the port to the Switch.
I have put the Crash N Sane Trilogy for Switch through it's paces, and i can assure you, it's great. And at only $40, it's a steal. You get the original Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. In addition, the Nintendo Switch version includes two unreleased DLC levels right on the physical cartridge. Cutscenes and voice-overs are remastered and gorgeous. Sound effects and music sound crisp and memorable as ever. I primarily played in docked mode with the pro controller. In my play experience, the controls were responsive and natural, and the graphics looked vibrant and sharp. I was absolutely satisfied with the quality of this port.
If you know Crash Bandicoot, you know what you're getting into. And it's all here, lovingly updated for 2018. If you don't know Crash, let me warn you: these are linear, level-based 3D platforming games. Very fun games, but they can be difficult to the uninitiated. Especially the first game. These are not re-imaginings. There are no open worlds, no battle royale modes. If these games seem limited or old-fashioned, it's because they are verbatim remasters of classic 90's 32-bit games. And yes. this is the Nintendo Switch version, so it won't look quite as good as it will on the more powerful, competing game platforms. However, I can personally attest that I experienced no gameplay issues, and no frame-rate drops.
If you played the original Crash games and want to play them on your Nintendo Switch, you will thoroughly enjoy this game. I would also recommend this game to fans of platforming games in general. If you enjoy the likes of the Super Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong Country series, you may very well enjoy this sweetly priced retro remaster collection on your Switch.

When I heard about the remastered release of Crash, I almost bought a PS4. However, I bought my Nintendo Switch and just stuck with that console for the last year. I had heard word that Crash was coming to the Switch and preordered immediately. The audio and graphics look amazing in Dock Mode as well as the Portable Mode. The controls are pretty solid and on par with the PS4 version of the game. The gameplay style of Crash Bandicoot is a perfect match to take on the road or just sit out on your front steps and chill while playing. The games included are just as I remember them back when I had them for the PS1 though they really look amazing due to the effort put forth in the remaster. Playing these games really reminds me of my childhood and a great shot of nostalgia. The only thing that was odd for me is the idea of playing these games on a Nintendo console when Crash had seemed to be the de facto mascot of the Sony Playstation back in the mid to late '90s - how things change, right? Either way, the price is right and it is a worthwhile addition to your Nintendo Switch Library. Highly Recommended!

Crash Bandicoot fans out there should not pass up the chance to own the N.Sane trilogy on your Nintendo Switch!
Although there are no new updates to the game that differentiate it from the Xbox and Playstation versions, it is nice to undock your Switch and take Crash with you on the go!
The N.Sane Trilogy offers up the original three Crash Bandicoot titles from the Playstation era completely remastered. There are even two new never-before-released courses that are included with the game for those who are looking for an extra challenge.
The graphics look great on the Nintendo Switch and I've already played through and completed the first two games (currently playing through the third entry) and having a blast reliving the memories from playing this game (and dying over and over) back on my Playstation.
If you are a gamer looking for a challenge who has never played a Crash Bandicoot game before or someone looking to relive your gaming past (like me), make sure to pick this one up! Just prepare to use up those extra lives! :)

This game is really fun. I will be doing separate reviews for each game:
- "Crash Bandicoot": a bandicoot known as Crash escapes a laboratory, where the villain Neo Cortex was doing tests, but he still has Crash's girlfriend, so now he has to go and save her (Yes, that part is a little too cliche). The game-play is decent (It is like Mario, you walk through a level, defeat enemies, and go to the finish). There are boxes you smash (don't smash the TNT), by spinning , and you collect fruit to get lives, and you can also get a tiki mask that gives you extra health. The levels are fun, but they are hard too early, so it might stress out some! The boss levels are also hard.
- "Crash Bandicoot 2": Now Neo Cortex uses Crash to get him crystals without knowing his evil plans for what he will use them for. The game play is the same as the first, but the levels are slightly easier, and I think the boss levels are too easy in my opinion, especially the final boss that was too easy and weak. But it is still equally enjoyable to the first. There are also green Nitro boxes that explode automatically when you touch them, compared to the red TNT boxes that have a timer. And crystals you have to collect.
- "Crash Bandicoot 3": Now Crash has to collect crystals traveling through time. The game is harder than the second game but easier than the first. There are also many different level designs, for example Crash can ride a motorcycle and his sister can ride a tiger and a jet ski. The bosses are slightly harder than the second game's bosses. I haven't finished the game but I am about halfway done.
In conclusion: I love that all the game have different designs and styles but they still manage to feel like the same game. They are funny, excellent, and very hard games.

Pure nostalgia with a modern twist!
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy took me straight back to my childhood—with upgraded graphics, smoother controls, and all the chaotic fun I remembered.
Three iconic games in one – Each level feels fresh yet familiar, with just the right challenge.
Beautifully remastered visuals – Vibrant colors and sharp details while keeping that classic vibe.
Fun for all players – Whether you’re a long-time fan or brand new to Crash, it’s easy to play and hard to put down.
Responsive controls & epic music – The gameplay feels tight and the soundtrack hits perfectly.
If you grew up with Crash or just want an addictive, well-made platformer, this is a must-have on the Switch. A true classic reborn!

This is a truly well-done remake of the first three Crash Bandicoot platform games. The updated graphics are smooth and add a level of clarity to the characters and environments that makes it feel brand new all over. Crash is a fast-paced game and this holds true in the remake.
The developers did a great job faithfully remaking the original game. However, that's the biggest strength and weakness of this game. They did nothing to 'soften' the experience for today's gaming crowd. The levels can be frustratingly difficult - which worked in the 90s for replay value. Today, with games that autosave and offer plenty of extra lives and do-overs - just barely missing a landing because of tight controls makes one want to quit playing a lot sooner than expected.. but it can be overlooked and chalked up to the feeling of accomplishment felt when you finally overcome a challenging level or boss.
You can play any of the full games at any point from the main screen and there's time attack and collection modes for each level. From side-scrolling, racing, and being chased levels - Crash offers a lot of variety and it's still a ton of fun, even if it is a bit challenging. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone, but be aware that the youngest gamers might find it just a bit too difficult.

Before you buy number 4 that was recently released, understand that this is where it all began. The gameplay is still awesome despite some flaws by today's standards. Practice much and you'll love the difficulty spikes and feel accomplished when you're done.
