Customers are pleased with the game's updated graphics, fun gameplay, and the overall quality of the remaster. Many appreciate the nostalgic experience and consider the price point to be excellent value. However, some players found the difficulty challenging, and a few noted concerns about the controls and occasional issues with jumping and load times. The physics engine also received mixed feedback.

Went crazy when I found out it's going to be remaster for the ps4. The game visual is amazing including the audio . Brings back memories on how much I enjoy playing the game. But it also reminding how difficult and frustrating it was.

I went to Best Buy yesterday and the gentleman in the gaming section was a huge help. Although I was dragging him all around the store, he didn't seem bothered at all and made sure I had everything I needed. Great visit!!!!!!

All three Crash Bandicoot games compacted into 1 pretty nice package. It's not flawless it's got some issues for certain but I'll get into that in a minute.
It's a very pretty game and seems to get Crash's levels down 1:1 while adding modern visual flair to them. More detail, a nice lighting engine and what not. The characters look way better now. Enemies in the original games were low-detail to probably make sure the game ran as well as it did then.
It's a solid package with all three games being included and Coco being playable through ...oddly only MOST of the game instead of all. I'd say the best bonus is that Crash 1 isn't as brutally difficult as it used to be. Originally you had to jump through hoops to just save your game, nevermind get the true ending. ...And the true ending is ...still pretty hard to get.
The technical issues vary from annoying to bad. Loading times were almost nonexistent on the PS1 originals, the PS4 version the load times are horrible. It takes 15 seconds just for the main menu to load up never mind how many fairly long load screens you gotta get through to get in and out of levels.
The game runs at 30fps, which is a shame since trailers had the game running at 60. The extra responsiveness would have been a nice thing to get especially with the likes of Uncharted 1-3 getting a nice update in that regard.
This is something only fans of the old games may notice...Crash's jumping is way off. He falls faster and slides off of edges. Meaning you have to be more precise with your jumps. Hit detection on some enemies is broken as well.
Overall it's a pretty good release, honestly the best way to play Crash 1 that's for sure and it's a solid collection for the price. But if you're a fan of the original 2 and 3, you're probably better off sticking to those versions as they handle better and load faster.

A great remaster of a classic trilogy!

WOAH! That was basically my reaction to the entire trilogy. They're just like the original games, but with updated graphics and sounds. It's awesome. There are other bonuses as well. Coco Bandicoot becomes playable in most levels in all three games (except levels where Crash rides an animal or vehicle, his boss levels as well if I remember correctly). Time Trials that started in Crash Bandicoot Warped are now in the first two games as well and those felt like a new experience. I never tried to rush through levels in the original game and these were like a new challenge for me. The Speed Shoes from Warped even show up in Cortex Strikes Back which help a lot with the times you must be to earn Relics. There's also a cut level from the first game available as DLC. It was free at first, but now it's paid DLC which is about $3 now I think. I've heard some say this remaster is harder than the original trilogy, but the difficulty feels about the same to me. Only new difficulty like I said earlier was the new Time Trials now in the first two games, but I enjoyed the new challenge. Overall, I'm happy to own and have played this game. It's a game for all Crash fans and a great way to start for newcomers in my opinion.

In a day and age where retro ports are becoming increasingly common, Crash N. Sane trilogy comes as a full remake of three classic games in a relatively affordable package. Being a series that had originally prided itself on expressive character animation despite limited console horsepower (and by proxy, limited polygons,) Crash N. Sane Trilogy manages to capture the aesthetic of the original games. In fact, I'd argue that now, not being tied down by the restrictions of a resource-limited console, Crash and company are able to better convey their intended expressions and emotion; most of which worked well in the past because of how over exaggerated they were. This unfortunately comes at a cost. The game looks incredible but long time fans may be disappointed to find that there have been slight tweaks to the physics if the game. A common cited example (and one that I find personally frustrating) is the fact that it seems the corners of pits are sort of "rounded." This is frustrating because a near landing becomes a near miss, where in the originals you would have survived the jump, in the remake you'll see Crash slip off the new, curved geometry, falling to his doom in the process. It also seems that all these newfound polygons have added to Crash's figure; he seems to be ever so slightly heavier than he used to be, giving the player a little less room for error in trickier platforming segments. I find this to be another overall detriment to the game, especially for new players whom are trying Crash for the first time. The original set of games were notoriously difficult, and these new physics quirks only compound the problem furthermore.
Overall, I would recommend this game, but not without mentioning the above complaints; specifically the difficulty.

I never played the original Crash Bandicoot games, but this remaster brings them up to date wonderfully. The graphics are gorgeous, and the quality-of-life improvements expected in modern games, like autosaves, are all there. The biggest thing to be aware of with this game is that, even though the Crash series are technically 3D platformers, they are absolutely not the same type of game as something like Super Mario Odyssey. They are more similar to 2D platformers, but in 3D. The levels are linear, and the challenge is simply about dodging obstacles to get to the end. There are alternate routes available in some levels, but you have to gather items to unlock them. The games also put a heavy emphasis on breaking all boxes possible within the level (think if a 2D Mario game kept track of every single block in the level, and made you break every one for 100% completion). If that sounds like fun to you, you will enjoy this game.

This game comes with Crash 1 ,2, and WAAARRPPPED!(3). I actually missed out on the first two when I was growning up, so this collection of remakes was high on my purchase list. I only played the original WARPED on PS1. I played and beat the first game of the trilogy. Its got a little bit of a learning curve, but looks and feels absolutely great! If you are going for the Platinum (I try to), then this game is very, very difficult. -But still, a lot of fun too.

I remember reading reviews how the game was hard, now i had grown up playing this game and when i started it up i immediately felt the nostalgia of coming home from school and playing. If you are new to this genre or never played the older games, yes i can see it being difficult, but if youre already a veteran of the series/genre you will only find it mildly difficult. The game looks gorgeous, sounds amazing and plays just as well great game.

This game brings back so many memories. The enhanced graphics are great. This is a kinda crazy but really entertaining precision platformer. I’ll be honest with you, this is a throw your controller at the tv kinda game, so be ready for some serious challenges on the later boards. It is sooooo good.

I grew up with the original games. I bought this for nostalgia, and holy cow... how did I play this when I was a kid? it's harder than DARK SOULS. highly recommend for a challenge, and for nostalgia. kids these days have no idea what videogames are, get off COD and start with the classics!

This collection was a complete ground up overhaul of the Crash Bandicoot series that no one truly asked for, and yet everyone was thankful for being made. Never before have we seen the little orange guy so detailed and emotive, and the new revamped soundtrack sounds great. The controls are tight and responsive, sometimes to a fault just like the old days, and now we get Coco as a fully playable character in all 3 games, which GREATLY adds replay value! This was money well spent for me.

This game is surprisingly difficult; coming from someone who played the original games on the PS1. I will have to go back and see how the difficulty is different. The game is beautiful and it's definitely scratching all the itches for a nostalgic fan of the originals.

Brings back great memories! Love that the graphics were updated. I was also unaware that it had all 3 games of Crash Bandicoot so that made me very excited. Price is lower than most games so that’s also great. Very fun game to play with friends.

Old-school meets new school. The game basically pays for itself. Hours of fun gameplay for young children. Possibly a 15 minute learning curve for the controls. Improve graphics are a plus. Reminds you of the Skylander game series
