Stylish but shoddy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this turntable well aware of Crosley's reputation for inferior sound quality, a compromise I was willing to make in exchange for an affordable vintage-styled turntable—it looks perfect as an accent in our mid-century inspired living room. I was, however, expecting the machine to WORK. However, after owning it for less than a week (in which it's seen maybe 12 hours of use), the right audio channel has completely ceased to work, and nothing will get it running correctly again. If you don't actually intend to USE this turntable, it's a lovely piece of retro decor, but between its poor sound quality (both via the integral speakers and through headphones) and the lousy construction of the model I received, I can't recommend it at all.
