Flimsy

He can operate it easier than digital radio. I notice a static hum when off, he doesn't. Couldn't take the gift back or I would have.

Not good quality

Not as easy to use as I thought

The clock/cd player looks good and is easy to oper

Sharp looking, but that's about it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This radio is very nice looking, and as someone who collects antique radios I can appreciate the slick styling. But when you turn on the radio, it's a real disappointment. The FM radio reception is poor, the CD player is cheap and flimsy, the CD player's performance is iffy, and the clock doesn't even keep good time (gained about a minute a week). There are MUCH, MUCH better sounding radios at BestBuy for this price, this one is only worth getting if it's all about how the radio looks. And, well, it looks really cool sitting on the shelf... unplugged.
