If you are looking to save a few bucks on a SSD-- this is the one. You can often find this SSD on sale, but its MSRP is already cheaper than other brands. It's a 1TB sata SSD. It works, it loads games and applications very quickly. If you are reading this in 2021, it's time to go with Solid State Drives.

Has to replace a spinning drive in a PS4 and felt it needed a little more speed. Quick install and seems reliable. I alwqys enjoy getting stuff from Crucial.

Easy to install, fast read. Use it only for containing OS of the computer.

Excellent storage device. Fits everything I need and speeds for read and write are excellent. Using a Samsung 980 pro NVME and I can't notice a difference. For the price this drive is a must.

This is by far the best SSD. The cloning was easy and entire setup did not take more than 15 minutes. My pst attempts to clone and installing SSD of other brand has failed. But crucial SSD was just so easy and quick. I would highly recommend this SSD for upgrading your traditional Sata disks.

Great value. Just be sure to format and download the Acronis software from Crucial website. This upgrade for a client gave new life to their aging laptop. Totally good enough.

I got this to saap out the hard drive in my sons PS4 to get a little extra life from it. The swap was simple and the new hard drive works exactly how it should.

Excellent small solid stae drive. Works as expected.

Easy install. Crucial provides software for migrating to the new drive. Sped up the laptop immensely. Like a brand new machine. Did have an issue where the migration software showed I was short ~150 MB. Check online. There is a simple way to "shrink" the main drive. After that no issues.

Used this for my PS5. No issues and easy install. Good price for your buck.

Summary; Great performance, fast, and reasonably priced SSD. Pros - Fast - Reasonably priced Cons - As with most SSD, does not come with the mounting screws. You will need to purchase them separately. Neutral - Cannot speak to durability yet, but Crucial does has a warranty.

I have been using Crucial ssd since they first came out, and non have failed me so far, so this time I needed a clone of my main drive, I have hdd clones but they are about 7 yrs old and one of these days they might not be accessible so I want to be sure that I am covered, I just need a 500gb but unfortunately Best Buy did not have one available so I just picked this 1 tb Crucial, I have one Crucial 500gb ssd with Windows 7 which I switch to when I need to use my old programs that would not run on Windows 10 i.e. Adobe CS3, and another with Win 10, all my old Crucial were MLC which I prefer, these newer ones are TLC, 3d are supposed to be an improvement over the old TLC, though they did have 500gb on m.2, but I still prefer this type of ssd due to non heating and throttling issue that m.2 suffers, so now I will just wait and see if the newer one will be as good or better than my 2 older ssds. But I do trust this company so I could for sure recommend using their products

Great SSD for my older laptop. Life saver when my slightly out of warranty laptop hard drive gave up the ghost. Decided to upgrade to SSD from the old spinning platters. Best decision. Faster startup, lower noise, lower power consumption, and overall better performance.

Purchased to replace original Hard Drive. It's faster and feel I got good value for the price. It seems be be reliable product.

I have gone all SSD on all my systems. When you can boot in 18 seconds it just makes all the difference. Crucial makes this install as simple as can be for laptop or desktop. There is nothing I have ever done to enhance performance on a computer that is as noticeable as this. Highly recommend.

Replaced a 500GB Samsung evo 860 with this 1TB crucial. Have been using for a few weeks with no problems. Performance seems to be comparable to the evo. Excellent price for the value. Crucial cloning software worked very well to swap the data between the drives.

Considering the fact that I was contemplating throwing my 5 year old laptop this computers in the trash, my purchase of the Best Buy Protection Plan allow provided a diagnostic check and repair on my electronic items for free, so I brought it in to have it checked out. The geek squad troubleshot and found that the HDD was bad. For the low price of $69 for a 1TB SSD, Best Buy made this decision very easy. It is not my primary computer but it serves its purpose. It runs like a brand new computer again The solution , a $69 SSD.
